Today’s repair included adding 4lbs of r-410a to the system & a complementary leak search was performed valued at $128 today to determine where the leak was…. Pressures & temperatures readings indicated a refrigerant leak. Electronic leak search was performed and detected a leak in the evaporator coil. I also washed the outdoor coils & inspected the evaporator coils. Blocked lower evaporator coils detected & a dirty filter found. I replaced the filter & charged the system back to manufacture specs. With age, condition, and an extensive service repair history we strongly recommend replacing the unit. System is cooling with NO guarantee of the refrigerant leaking out.
