Customer is complaining that a chemical smell is coming from ac . It looked like a painting smell and customer has paint in his garage where air handler is also checked inside air handler there was no smell there . Also performed a full evaluation of the system and found out that compressor is working hard and caused the wire going to capacitor to melt . Also it has consumed the capacitor and the reading on it show that is low . The contractor point are burned and also that need to be replaced. Suction pressure was 165 which means is high and txv valve is stuck open which means that valve is bad too. Duct is in a bad shape too. Recommend customer to replace the unit and the ductwork.
