Challenging heat/aux problem on my heat pump finally solved by the 4th tech to look at it! Brian found the wiring problem and got my Beckett running and had the ecobee switching back and forth like it should! Very persistent and patient, and willing to answer questions and explain🌻

Switched from oil to natural gas (already piped in the 1400 sq ft home). Bill - salesman - was great and very down to earth and knowledgeable. Leslie - his financial person - was friendly and provided helpful information in a timely manner. Actual install took 3 days with trouble finding some parts (I was told). Actual installers did not give me lots of confidence. Communication after the install has been difficult and spotty at best. It's been almost 2 months and the work still has not been inspected by the local inspector. The issue with these big companies is that it's difficult to figure out who is who and who to call for what. There is the ubiquitous 1-800 number you call and press 1 or 2 or 3 or ........ Hopefully in the end it will all work out. But it seems to have been not the smoothest process.

Brian Mutascio, Townsend Service Technician, is always thorough and proactive in his service. He refers back to past service call tags and notes — and leverages that into his status assessment, troubleshooting, adjustments and maintenance. He is trained and certified in my boiler unit and pulls in the manufacturer’s technical support when needed. He works to resolve and prevent problems, and to have my boiler operating according to manufacturing standards and at optimal efgiciency.

We were very fortunate to have Brian Mutascio from Townsend Energy working on our heating system. We had a leak that required most of the bottom of the boiler taken out and reinstalled again with new parts. Brian was very careful to make sure everything didn’t leak when reassembled. He did an awesome job under tough circumstances. He even researched an error code for the boiler on his own time at night which paid off the next day.

Resecured wires at the furnace. Tested fan operations after repairs. Tested Oil heat and heat pump operations that successfully are crossing over according to thresholds. Installed customers spare room sensor. all set.
Tuned up your heating system and installed new air vents and relief valve. Combustion tested to manufacture specifications. All set.
