Preformed single system maintenance on a 2022 heat pump. I tested all electrical components on the inside unit. All tested within manufacturer specification. Filter was recently changed by client. 20x20x4. I tested all electrical components on the outside unit. All tested within manufacturer specifications, except for the start amps were starting higher than 100 amps. We would like to see the amps at about 60 amps on start up. Manufacturer rating is at 130 amps max. A hard start kit will help bring those amps down and help the compressor last longer. I provided estimate to have hard start kit installed.
