I performed a single heating maintenance on a 2018 heat pump system. I checked amps, capacitors, filter, electrical, cleanliness, and safeties. I observed that the indoor unit is beginning to get filthy. It has build up on the blower wheel, evaporator coil, and growth formations. I noticed that there is burning present on the bottom side of the contactor. I spoke with the homeowner about the wiring mess in the outdoor unit and presented a solution to address it. We talked about how the system is missing a water safety switch, also. I presented solutions to address these concerns with the system and I built a customer option for the customer requested items. Customer would like to move forward on 3/16/2026 anytime after 8am. We will reach out to collect a deposit closer to the date.
