Perform maintenance on 2017 electric heat air handler. 1. Visually inspected condenser coil for debris/ dirty. 2. Inspected condenser fan motor. 3. Inspected condenser fan blades. 4. Inspected/ cleaned wiring connections. 5. Tested compressor/ condenser fan motor capacitor. 6. Inspected / replaced return filter. 7. Inspected return plenum for debris/ dirty. 8. Inspected evaporator coil. 9. Inspected blower motor/ blower wheel. 10. Checked blower amp draw. 11. Measured temperature differential from supply to return. 20 degrees measured. 12. Tested capacitor and contactor (outdoor electrical) 13. Rinsed condenser unit to promote heat exchange 14. Tested electric heat and found no issues Upon inspection of the unit I found signs of extremely high static pressure. A plug on the front of the unit had been pulled into the evaporator coil , and customer stated he could hear whistling while the unit was running.
