I arrived to give our client a second opinion regarding her furnace. She had a previous company claim the system could not be repaired. I diagnosed a failed furnace control board that was not sending signal to the spark ignitor. I shared my findings with our client and we discussed repair vs replacement options. Because she has recently moved into the home she would like to repair the failed board. I also found a flex hose entering into the cabinet and informed her I could not complete the board replacement without correctly connecting the gas valve. I called Lennox and was able to get an updated replacement board for the furnace. I will order the board and ensure we are able to return to install it Monday. I informed and our client, and she understands that I will further diagnose the system when we return.
