Preformed heating maintenance on a single system heat pump. We tested all electrical components on the inside unit . All electrical tested within manufacturer specifications. We proceeded outside to test all of the electrical components on the outside all tested within manufacturer specifications. The start amps were starting on the high side. We recommend a hard start kit to help bring down those high start amps. We installed the hard start kit. The amps went from OL reading to 42/96max amps. Unit was cooling upon departure. 521 ELECTRONIC HARD START 189-227 UF 170-277V 1 HP AND UP HARD STARTS ARE USED TO GIVE COMPRESSORS A HIGHER STARTING BOOST OF CURRENT WHEN NEEDED TO START.
