Upon arrival, I discovered that outdoor unit did not have any power to it. I verify that my disconnect is functioning properly. I proceeded inside and located a tripped breaker in the panel. I attempted to cycle it but it tripped instantly. I unhooked the compressor and performed the same test. It tripped again. I performed the test another time, but with the compressor wired in and the fan motor wired out. The unit tripped instantly. I ohmed the motor and found that there are busted windings. I observed that the contactor is worn. I reached out to the landlord to get approval for a contactor and condenser fan motor. I installed a new motor, a contactor, and a capacitor for the motor. I took the supply temperature and have a 30+ degree temperature rise. System does not have a back up source of, heat for the system. Customer elected to have the invoice payment link sent to him. System is heating upon departure.
