Upon my arrival in Cedar Creek, for an AC repair, I met with the customer. After further investigating the system I noticed something was on the auxiliary heating strips but couldn’t make out what it was. I removed the blower housing and found that a raccoon had gotten into the duct work. When they turned the heat on this morning it caused the burning smell and smoke they had seen. They will have to have the raccoon removed from the system and I will email over cleaning quotes as well as auxiliary heating repair quotes. I advised to remove the smell the duct system may have to be replaced. I will follow up on the repair quotes to see if they want the comfort specialist to quote duct replacement or not.
