Inspected unit and found air leaking from supply. Sealed up with spray adhesive and no air was coming out of that hole anymore. After that I checked for temperatures to drop and still same issue was happening. I checked for the heat strips were turning on but they were not. Filter was very filthy. I replaced filter and still same issue. I checked temperature and I was still having same issue. I checked pressures and came across a defective txv. We will need to order new txv. Also unit is a 2 ton and the home is a 1350 sqft. So the unit is also undersized. Customer wants to go ahead and order txv. Customer was not home when I left so I was not able to get signature but customer did give me an approval to order the part. He said he can’t continue like this through out the summer.
