He got it done!

He very quickly installed the heating element in my new HVAC unit, was in and out and repaired something that was disconnected in my home from the HVAC repair. So 👍 👍 The only reason I gave 3 stars on the ‘convenience’ question was because they were 2 hours later than the late end of the window, which was frustrating because I have million things to do and my time is valuable too… but it all worked out ok. It was all redeemed when they were done so quickly.

Customer had us out today to go through his machines that we just installed. He had a issue with one of the compressors, making a loud noise that has since stopped. Upon investigation, Troy just found the regular stuff. All the compressors had a good charge. Splits were healthy and he is one happy customer wanted to pass on that. Larry and Ricky absolutely kicked butt on this install, and wanted to sing his praises to the powers that be for those guys.

Customer called us out because his compressor was not working properly. Upon investigation, Troy found that the compressor was not reading the proper ohms. Quoted him on a new system. He signed off on a 2 ton Dura star heat pump.

Customer called us out because the system was not coming online. Upon investigation Troy found that after cycling power neither machine was coming on, but there was power to the thermostat and I was getting full volts at both Contacts switches. After jumping out the float, switch, the whole system, turned on, quoted customer for emergency services, and any float switch.

Today we visited because the air conditioning system was not cooling the home. We discovered the outside fan was not working. The dual run capacitor failed and was turning on the compressor, but not the outdoor fan motor. Upon inspection we learned this part had been replaced at least once before. This is odd because the unit is only four years old. James discovered why the capacitor failed, at least twice and why there is mold growth in the air handler cabinet. The unit is a three ton system, but the return is only a 20x20, which does not move enough air for a 3-ton system. The faulty capacitor was replaced and the unit performance was verified to be cooling. James put together a few different choices for Danielle to fix the airflow and address the air quality issue.

Customer said that his house wasn’t cooling. This has been a recurring issue for the last month or so. Customer had another company come out to do a routine maintenance and that company had replaced a capacitor. Since that time the evaporator coil had a leak and was replaced After which we had another return visit after the evaporator coil was put in place to try to adjust settings to see if that fixed it however, it did not, and upon further discovery, there was a leak found in the condenser coil as well. Customer signed off on replacing condenser coil as a courtesy I topped off his Freon, and provided a complementary duck sanitation.

Today we visited because the air-conditioning system it’s not able to keep the home below 79°. We learned the system was low on refrigerant and located a leak inside unit, evaporator coil. We will be returning to replace the leaking coil. James was able to get the unit cooling by adding refrigerant in hopes to keep them comfortable until the parts are available.
