Today we visited to determine why the air-conditioning system is not keeping the home cool when it is hot outside. We learned there are no broken parts, per se, but the unit has lost capacity. The outside coils are corroded and have a large temperature split. Since the unit uses a phased out refrigerant it should be replaced.
