Today we visited because Effie was concerned the upstairs unit was not maintaining temperature. After evaluating the system, James determined the machine is working as it should. It seems Effie was keeping all of the upstairs doors closed and with the thermostat being in the hallway, it was not getting satisfied.
This machine is the least expensive to initially install. It uses a single stage compressor and indoor blower motor. This unit is the most similar to the current system.
This option contains recharging the system and addition of leak sealant that will close any minor leaks throughout your system.
System is too old for balancing gave quote for a new system. She will like more likely be financing.
Today we returned to the home for: - Replacement of the blower motor and module
Today we visited to determine why the AC unit is not working. Sharleen mentioned she felt cold air coming out of the wrong vent (return). We found the unit to have a failed blower motor/module. The total repair for the replacement motor and programmed module is $832.56.
Upon arrival unit was running low in refrigerant sub cooling was 0.4 added two pouf Freon increase sub cooling unit is running in cooling. Unit was install Last July I was no sure if still under warranty.
Brennan G Today I visited for the downstairs thermostat going blank. Before arrival Effie had reset power to the system and the thermostat came back on and the equipment started working again. I preformed basic checks and everything is in proper working order. I treated the drain lines with drain cleaner, both systems are operating normally at this time.
- Replacement of the system dual capacitor - Replacement of the condenser fan motor
Today we visited because the upstairs system was not cooling. We learned the outside fan was not working properly. The dual capacitor was bad. After replacing the capacitor the fan still wouldn’t work unless pushed to get started. The unit requires a 5mfd capacitor for the fan but wouldn’t start so James installed a 7.5mfd and the system cycled on its own. There is a high probability of the fan motor failing soon. Peter decided to have both the capacitor and fan motor replaced. We will call tomorrow to arrange the repair.
This system uses a variable speed outdoor compressor and fan, the condenser will “throttle” its cooling output based on the amount of cooling required. Today, upon arrival, the owner was not present. A woman was home. That stated the owner was looking at another house. The unit had a tripped float switch and clogged drain line. James cleaned the drain line. There was fresh evidence someone else had recently attempted to clear the drain. James mentioned this to the person at house and she spontaneously remembered someone else had come today. Sandra has not answered any calls or texts. The service fee cannot be emailed to Sandra because we do not have her email.
Brennan G Todays visit was to check the system before inspection. The breakers are the correct size and the system is cooling/draining normally.
