Unfortunately we had to use PDM twice within a couple of weeks, but fortunately for us we had Pete do the work both times. He is very polite, professional and did a great job both times. He kept the work area clean, caring for our carpet, etc. He explained everything to us before he left. Well done!

Indoor air quality service. Replaced bulb on UV lite in the furnace. A UV light uses ultraviolet-C (UVC) radiation to prevent the growth of microorganisms like bacteria, mold, and viruses on HVAC system surfaces, such as evaporator coils and drain pans, making the system more efficient and improving indoor air quality.
Commercial piping repair. Used a camera on the piping where water was coming through the floor. I suspect water is leaking from a storm drain. Dave will talk to Abe to figure out where we go from here.
Furnace tune-up nd safety inspection. Cleaned and serviced the furnace. Tested all mechanical components. Cleaned all sensors. Tested gas valve and inlet/outlet pressures. Checked blower motor amperage and capacity. Cleaned the exhaust pipe out. Changed the furnace filter that the customer provided. The system is clean, heating, and operating properly at this time. This is the first visit on the current VIP service plan. Performed free plumbing inspections.
Furnace tune-up nd safety inspection. Cleaned and serviced furnace. Tested all mechanical components. The system is working adequately. Found the system having a lot of flame rollout on startup. Writing customer estimates for a new furnace. The existing furnace is from 1998. Took pictures of the cabinet showing flames in heat mode.
AC repair. Found water underneath and all around the furnace area. After inspection, found clogged drain line. Removed and reinstalled the new drain from the coil to the drain on the floor. Cleaned up all the water in the area. Replaced the furnace filter that the customer provided. System is clean, cooling, and operating /draining properly at this time.
Commercial faucet repair. The Moen Chateaux lav faucet is leaking from the handle. The small water heater under the sink is blocking the handle on the stop, so water cannot be turned off to it. They will try to find the shutoff valve to replace the faucet.
Estimate for a 3 stage water filtration system
Sump pump service. The crawl space is so full of water that we’re using pumps from the shop to pump it down. will let the pumps run until the water is low enough to enter and diagnose the problem. Pumps are running, but there’s still a lot of water in the crawl. Replaced both sump pumps in the crawl space.
Water heater repair. Replace the vapor sensor. The sensor is required to detect flammable vapors in less than a minute after a spill, enabling the gas valve control module to prevent the supply of gas and burner ignition.
Leaking water heater. I replaced a 40-gallon water heater with a new Bradford White energy-efficient model. Tested for safe operation, cleaned up, and hauled away the old tank.
Hot water heater service. The customer could not get the water heater lit after the water softener hose came loose and put the heater out. The customer had already cleared water out of the bottom of the heater, and it fired up instantly on the first try. The heater is only a couple of years old best option is to start by just lighting the heater and see if any issues arise in the future. I took a picture of an EPA notice from the city of Crest Hill, and the customer would like to know if we install any whole-house water filter systems that can help with what is listed by the EPA.
Sump pump service. Removed lid from sump pit to inspect pumps. Both are operating fine at this time. The backup pump was probably activated because the main pump could not keep up with the amount of water coming in.
