I had two plumbing issues that needed to be addressed. I called PDM, and they sent out John Moon. From the moment of meeting Mr. Moon, I felt very comfortable with his professionalism and knowledge. My first issue was a small leak that was starting at the washing machine to the shut-off valve. John could of just tighten the bolt and left it at that, but engaged me in a discussion about looking forward at the situation. No pressure, it was my call, and I decided to err on the side of caution and just replace the valve itself. Problem solved, no more leak. My second issue was a major leak at the drain site of my bathroom sink. This was a new remodeled bathroom and I had two plumbers out trying to solve this leak. John immediately noticed that it was a poor design on the hardware of the drain located under the sink. He recommended a push-button drain stopper. I had seen these on the internet, but was unsure if they functioned better than the standard drain configuration we are used to having. After much discussion, John ordered me one to match my faucet, installed it, and I couldn't be happier. I had issues with this new sink from the get-go. I was constantly buying drain cleaners due to the constant slow draining of water. I always thought that the pipes were always backing up. It was the poor design of the German design drain that I had the contractor install during the remodel. Now, thanks to John, the water drains like a waterfall. LOVE it! My only mistake? I wasted money on having other plumbers come in an attempt to fix the drain. I could have saved $500 in the long run by just calling PDM, pay to fix the drain once, saving money in the long run. Brad was great at working on my hot water heater that he had installed about a month ago. I wish though that when it was installed I would have thought to mention that i wanted them to remove some rod that makes the water smell like rotten eggs and was probably the reason for the black water we had a couple of times. After paying around $2,500 for the water heater I had to pay $370 to have him come and take out the rod. Maybe they could mention that when they install the water heaters if the customer would like that rod removed. Otherwise I was very satisfied. Brad is very friendly and seems very knowledgably. He cleans up after is work also.

I have been struggling with a rocking toilet for 1 year now ever since I had my bathroom remodeled. Every 3-4 months, the toilet would come loose, and I would have four different plumbing companies come out to fix the problem to no avail. Out of frustration, I conducted my own extensive research to determine the cause of the problem. After watching numerous YouTube videos on this, I called PDM. After talking with Rudy Mahalik, he concurred and what my research showed. He had one of his top technicians come out the very next day. Brad showed up on time as scheduled and was very professional. As he removed the toilet, he kept me in the loop as to his assessment of my situation. He also concurred with my research as to the best solution to rectify my rocking toilet. Brad took great care to fix my toilet and keep any mess to a minimum. After Brad left, my floors looked like he wasn't even here. SPECIAL NOTE: I had a new 1-year water heater that my research also showed should be flushed out every year. I asked Brad that while he was here, if he had time to do that job also. He made a quick call to the office, got the green light, and my water heater got flushed as part of the job as well. Everything worked out perfectly. I couldn't be happier. Brad, check off two jobs from my "To Do List".

I made a mistake by trying to shop local. With only a water sample, they told me I needed a new water softener. I then called PDM, which is the usual company I use. Their technician arrived on time, was pleasant and checked the water softener. He said it was working now and all I needed was salt. I will never go to any other company for repairs.

I have been using PDM for 10 years and have been very happy with the service I have received over the years for my furnaces and air conditioners. They come twice a year to check my units, and I have been happy with the service they provided when I needed repairs. Plumbing repair. Replaced boiler drain for the cold side of laundry connections. The pop-up drain in the master bathroom lav is leaking. Replaced pop-up.

Moen kitchen faucet that we installed in 2022 is leaking. installed customer customer-supplied Moen faucet.
ESTIMATE TO INSPECT THERMAL EXPANSION TANKS AND PRV'S
Heating maintenance. Cleaned and serviced residential furnace. Customer renewed VIP maintenance program. One visit is being used today. Tested all mechanical components. Cleaned all sensors. Cleaned condensation trap and all hoses. Cleaned pressure switch hoses. Found ignitor and flame sensor to be very corroded. The customer agreed to replace both parts. Changed furnace filter and humidifier pad filter that the customer provided. Adjusted humidistat. The system is clean, heating and operating properly at this time. Performed free plumbing inspections. ** Bill customer. Friends with Rudy.
ESTIMATE TO PUMP AND CLEAN GREASE TRAP AND BASINS
Toilet repair. Installed new repair closet collar flange and reset the toilet. Everything tested, cleaned up, and working as it should.
Furnace repair. I found the 3/4” PVC on the condensate line was leaking. I pulled apart and glued together.
Furnace tune-up and safety inspection. Tested all mechanical components. Cleaned all sensors. Tested gas valve voltage and inlet/outlet pressures. Cleaned pressure switch hoses. Cleaned the exhaust pipe out. Replaced furnace filter that the customer provided. The furnace is clean, heating, and operating properly at this time.
Medical center water backflow preventer repair.
Toilet has a bad flush valve on the pressure assist tank. The toilet is a Mansfield and the tank is a flushmate pressure assist. Need to order new pressure assist tank and additional cartridge and schedule appointment to come back and install. After installation of new American standard pressure assist toilet I found out sewer line was backed up with wipes at 90 in waste line from using previous toilet with a bad flush valve. I had to repulse toilet and rod main sewer line out 30’ to get line open. Was packed full of San wipes. Had to rod twice to make sure line was open. Hooked back up new toilet and everything is wok’s should now.
ESTIMATE TO REPLACE 3 COMPARTMENT SINK FOR CAFE 1900
Water backflow preventer testing. Had to repair a 1” backflow in the EVS closet by the cafeteria. This backflow is for the fountain. Certified backflow, so it is working properly.
