I made a mistake by trying to shop local. With only a water sample, they told me I needed a new water softener. I then called PDM, which is the usual company I use. Their technician arrived on time, was pleasant and checked the water softener. He said it was working now and all I needed was salt. I will never go to any other company for repairs.

I have been using PDM for 10 years and have been very happy with the service I have received over the years for my furnaces and air conditioners. They come twice a year to check my units, and I have been happy with the service they provided when I needed repairs. They also were very helpful with an emergency plumbing issue I had several years ago.

Dan was very good to work with. He showed up on time, was prepared, and understood the severity of shutting water down at the hospital. His knowledge to come up with a small bypass saved a lot of headache for the Village and Hospital. Very pleased with Dan's work and would hire him back in a second.

Provided an estimate to replace the central air conditioner.
Installed new Bradford White 50-gallon electric water heater. Tested for safe operation. Cleaned work area and removed old water heater.
Air conditioning maintenance. Cleaned and serviced both condensing units. Checked all mechanical parts. Checked refrigerant levels. Everything is in accurate working and efficient condition. Replaced both furnace filters that customer provided.
Medical plumbing repair. Water leak. I cut a hole in the wall below the box in room 6, ran water into the box everything in the wall is dry! I also ran the nurse sink right outside this room and checked below, I have no water, it is dry. I believe there was a spill on the floor in room 6 next to the wall, and it came down the holes for the waste pipes.
Commercial water heater repair. Lower level hot water heater. Bradford White Model#CEHD120A4533LCF with a 119-gallon capacity. I inspected the water heater electric system and found two problems. Found an electrical fault with the contactor wiring burnt. Made the necessary repairs. I also found the top right element black wire was not connected to the element; I put it in its place on that element. Checked all elements, contractors, and fuses to ensure they were operating safely. I flushed the water heater return line. I flushed the heater tank. Inspected the water heater expansion tank at 59 psi. Found the water heater tank temperature was low, 115, it needs to be a minimum of 140F to kill legionella. They would like a minimum of 122* on the return, but the system has a mixing valve unable to get that on return due to the type of mixing valve.
HVAC maintenance plan. Cleaned and serviced the furnace and AC condensing unit. Tested all mechanical parts. Replaced faulty ignitor and flame switch on the furnace. Tested gas valve voltage, blower motor amperage, and capacitor. The temperature rise test was within range. Checked gas pressure. Installed the furnace filter that the customer provided. AC maintenance. Cleaned and serviced condensing unit. Tested all mechanical parts. Replaced both capacitors due to being below acceptable levels. Also replaced contactor due to terminals being corroded. Both systems are working normally as they should be at this time.
Medical plumbing repair. Chlorinate PAV A piping system. I pumped in the chlorine mixture and let it sit for 6 hrs. I flushed the plumbing system clean from 1 to 3 AM. Will take water samples in the morning.
Estimate to plumb lower bathroom, plumb water line to bar, tap drain to the bar as well. 9-11
Medical center plumbing repair. Replace the mixing valve in the Pav A water room for the dialysis unit. After the unit was installed, the only way I could get the discharge water temperature above 80* was to turn the cold water stop down. I set pictures and videos of the valve in operations in the customer file. Showing the stops in the picture with temperatures and the hot stop opened and cold turned down, with eyewash running at the time of installation.
Medical sewer and drain piping estimate to replace leaking cast iron drain piping.
Estimate to repair water leaks in the dialysis center.
ESTIMATE TO INSTALL ODOR REDUCING MEMBRANES
Medical plumbing repair. Repair a 2-1/2” copper 110* hot water line. Shut the water down and drain the line. Reinstall new fittings and piping and insulate the line. Turn the valves back on and flush the system.
Medical plumbing repair. I cut out a section of 4” PVC pipe that was leaking sewer gas at the glue joints. Repaired piping.
