Brad was great at working on my hot water heater that he had installed about a month ago. I wish though that when it was installed I would have thought to mention that i wanted them to remove some rod that makes the water smell like rotten eggs and was probably the reason for the black water we had a couple of times. After paying around $2,500 for the water heater I had to pay $370 to have him come and take out the rod. Maybe they could mention that when they install the water heaters if the customer would like that rod removed. Otherwise I was very satisfied. Brad is very friendly and seems very knowledgably. He cleans up after is work also.
I have been struggling with a rocking toilet for 1 year now ever since I had my bathroom remodeled. Every 3-4 months, the toilet would come loose, and I would have four different plumbing companies come out to fix the problem to no avail. Out of frustration, I conducted my own extensive research to determine the cause of the problem. After watching numerous YouTube videos on this, I called PDM. After talking with Rudy Mahalik, he concurred and what my research showed. He had one of his top technicians come out the very next day. Brad showed up on time as scheduled and was very professional. As he removed the toilet, he kept me in the loop as to his assessment of my situation. He also concurred with my research as to the best solution to rectify my rocking toilet. Brad took great care to fix my toilet and keep any mess to a minimum. After Brad left, my floors looked like he wasn't even here. SPECIAL NOTE: I had a new 1-year water heater that my research also showed should be flushed out every year. I asked Brad that while he was here, if he had time to do that job also. He made a quick call to the office, got the green light, and my water heater got flushed as part of the job as well. Everything worked out perfectly. I couldn't be happier. Brad, check off two jobs from my "To Do List".

I made a mistake by trying to shop local. With only a water sample, they told me I needed a new water softener. I then called PDM, which is the usual company I use. Their technician arrived on time, was pleasant and checked the water softener. He said it was working now and all I needed was salt. I will never go to any other company for repairs.
Response from PDM Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Since 1885:

Medical office plumbing repair. Locate and repair piping leaks.
Commercial plumbing repair. Found a leak in the cast iron drain going through the floor, it was split and leaking. I opened the wall for repair to be made, removed the old CI pipe, and replaced it with a new one. After the repair, water was run and checked for leaks all is good. Seal the hole around the pipe going through the floor, and wall repair is to be done by others.
HVAC repair. Old system with a faulty furnace blower motor. Replace the blower motor. No warranty on repair. Sent estimates on new energy-efficient HVAC equipment.
Install master bathroom customer supplied 8” spread lav faucet with new angle stops, supply lines and drain. Install new customer supplied powder room 8” lav faucet on pedestal sink included new angle stops, supply lines and drain. Install new customer-supplied laundry tub/ kitchen faucet in laundry room, including new angle stops, supply lines, and trap, including a flanged tail piece for connection to basket strainer. Install new flanged tail piece and dishwasher wye under kitchen sink. Install a new Kohler flush handle with the included brass finish in the master bath. Disconnect the old water softener in the basement and dispose of it. It is currently full of salt and weighs hundreds of pounds. Disconnect the small on-demand water heater in the basement that was just soft water, and reconnect the piping prior to the heater to the sink and cap off the inlet and outlet of the heater. Cap off electrical lines with caps and tape off and shut off the breaker.
Air conditioning tune-up and safety inspection. Clean out the unit with Nitrogen, test and tune the AC system. AC is running safely now.
Water heater repair. Pulled anode rods from the water heater. I drained the heater, then added 1 cup of bleach while the system filled, then flushed the system till the smell of bleach was gone. Turned the breaker back on for the electric heater and tested for leaks. All is working properly
Successfully rodded sink line in 6th floor clean utility room.
Three electric water heaters in unit. One is leaking. I do not have access to read label on this heater because it is pushed in corner with no access to read label but the one next to it I can read label for volts and it reads 480. All heaters breakers in this suite are in 480 breaker box so I’m assuming it’s 480 as well without being able to read sticker. I took a pic of a heater in different suite that read 208 volts and that’s not the heater leaking. Heater needs to be replaced and appointment scheduled with silver cross. The pic in file of heater sticker with 480 on it is the assumed heater to purchase. This is a 2 man job. 2 men needed to put in
Water heater repair. Replaced the dielectric union on the cold side under warranty. Provided a quote to replace the ejector pump.
Medical water heater repair. Install the drain valve and check valve on water heater return lines in suites 440 and 450, pump in sanitizer in hot water and cold water systems in both suites, let sit in the system for 5 hrs, and flush hot and cold systems in both suites. Hospital staff removed mixing valves that were plugged up.
Plumbing repair. Came out because hot water is coming out of the hose bib. I installed a new water heater yesterday, and yesterday was the first day they used the water hose this year. After investigating, I found that this winter the lines in the basement froze, and another contractor repiped the basement. They crossed the hose bib into the hot water line. He is going to call the previous contractor out to fix the issue they created. No charge per Jake.
Installed Bradford White 40-gallon natural gas water heater. Tested for safe operation. Cleaned up and recycled old water heater tank.
Medical plumbing repair. The main shut-off valve to the hot water unit does not work. Could not do work without shutting off work. Have to schedule a shutdown with the hospital to install the new shut-off valve in order to chlorinate the system.
Toilet repair. When I arrived, the toilet was a bit wobbly when force was added. I took the toilet off and found there were no toilet shims and a crack in the toilet flange. I added a repair flange and screwed everything tightly then installed toilet with numerous shims to secure and ensure no more rocking. Tested everything for leaks and had the customer check the toilet for rocking, and everything is good.
Commercial medical plumbing repair. Will need to shut the hospital's water off at night to make water piping repairs.
