PDM responded quickly to a plumbing emergency, in great form. Pete came over quite quickly to address the leak, and worked his way through a number of obstacles after isolating the problem. Pete is very bright, and we are always delighted to see him when the need arises. Many thanks also to Christina in the office who understood right away the sense of urgency, and her great handling of the issue and expediting. PDM is terrific.

Pete worked quite efficiently to take care of a number of somewhat complex issues. He always has a great work ethic, is extremely bright and creative in arriving at solutions, and most important, is always focused on the customer.

PDM quickly arranged for Pete to come out to my home to respond to a problem with one of our toilets, and he repaired it quickly and efficiently. Plus he loves our dogs, so it does not get any better!

Inspected back up generator, not getting power to solenoid. We put call into factory for technical advice. Unit is 24 years old.
Air conditioner maintenance. Cleaned and serviced condensing unit. Tested capacitor, contactor, fan motor amperage and compressor amperage. Tested blower motor capacitor. Everything was is adequate working condition. Changed furnace filter which customer provided. Washed out and cleaned condenser coils. Checked refrigerant levels. R410a refrigerant was in accurate range. Customer renew maintenance program. Performed free inspection.
Commercial kitchen drain repair. Found bolts on grease trap severely deteriorated, replaced. There is still a smell possibly from the grease trap gasket or another source. Performed smoke test on building, found several leaks from lid for ejector pumps, sealed with silicone to repair.
ESTIMATE TO REPLACE LEAKING TEMPERING VALVE
No heat call. Customer signed up to be our customer/member. Signed up for two maintenance programs. There are 3 furnaces in this house, only signed up for two at this time. No heat was due to cracked hsi on carrier furnace. Tested flame sensors, pressure switches, hsi, fan motor amperage and capacitor, inducer motor amperage and gas valve voltages. Replaced hsi and flame sensor on carrier furnace, and replaced fan motor capacitor of American standard furnace. Customer is using one visit from both plans at this time and will have two visits for each condenser in a couple months for cooling season. Gave customer estimate for battery back up sump. Customer wants Chris to call him about generator issues. Maintenance plan is for basement furnaces.
Inspected mixing valve box, will work up estimate on box replacement or rebuild.
Went to job pulled relief and 1 st check apart a few times to get device to pass . Device passed.
Re-pipe section of condensate drain between pump and vertical pipe going into boiler room, including a new check valve. All work done in end of tunnel.
Sump pump service. Primary pump was air locking. Install industrial strength Pro Series sump pump. Test for safe operation. Recycle old pump.
Piping repair. Opened ceiling in basement to expose piping, found water leak from toilet flange area. Removed powder room toilet, reconfigured flange to prevent further issues. If this doesn’t hold, piping will need to be replaced including new toilet flange, will require additional ceiling removal. Replaced main water filter. Will return Friday to repipe section of drain line.
Drain cleaning. Power rodded lavatory drain in bathroom by pulling trap. Drain is now flowing freely.
Replaced well pressure tank, switch and pressure gauge
Leak in tunnel, condensation line is falling apart. About 12”of water in tunnel. Shut water supply off. We went in the tunnels to hang lights all thru out.
