Customer concerned about unit not cooling properly. Checked blower motor operation and inspected equipment cabinet. The package unit is old and rusty components. Checked electrical wiring and inspected electrical components. The blower motor has been replaced and no safety surge protector on equipment. Checked thermostat calibration and filter. The thermostat is not working properly and needs to be replaced to keep unit cooling properly. Strongly recommend customer to speak with comfort advisor about upgrading the system to the energy standards of today’s equipment. Minimum repair is to replace the thermostat with new digital thermostat and 5 years warranty. Customer has declined services at this time. Sent out the estimate for thermostat replacement.
