The reason for today’s visit was powerloss. When we arrived we saw a 100 amp cloth wired service. The service was fully detached from the wall and the top of the home where point of entry was. We saw that the panel had heavy over heating and melted wires along with 3 breakers that are currently disconnected, melted and burnt on the bus bar showing major damage. We began assessing the damage in the panel and saw that the rooms affected were the reason we were called out. After talking to home owner, we began with the panel replacement as well as letting the home owner know of the process. The major concern is the bedroom in the loft no longer has AC and this circuit is one of the many affected. We gave the process of repair as well as recommended on installing a dedicated circuit for the ac and laundry. At this time customer would like to review and reach out if deciding to move forward.
