Nick was amazing. Our issue was very simple to resolve, but he took the time to explain everything to me, kindly and thoroughly. He was very respectful of my home, and my lack of knowledge. I will definitely use this business for future electrical needs, and highly recommend them to others.
The task Matt tackled for us was spread out over four long (for him) days, and he was prompt every day. Matt was very professional and his work ethic is beyond reproach. The work involved relocating a breaker panel, and running a new supply line on the outside of the house.. What I was most impressed by, though, was the fact that out of four electrical contractors we asked for prices, Matt/Haas and Sons was the only one who didn't balk when we asked for a permit to be pulled for the job. I would absolutely recommend Haas and Matt for any electrical work you need to have performed.
Alex was a pleasure to have in my home and very professional in the work he was doing. He was efficient and got a lot of work done in a short amount of time.
Would definitely recommend. Diagnostic skills were excellent and corrected the problem very efficiently and provided clear explanations as to what was the problem.

Replace all receptacles and switches in the home Install whole home Surge protection
Was called out to look at a microwave circuit tripping. Went to the panel to assess the circuit and upon my investigation noticed the panel was rusted and the neutral bar is corroding. There is also moisture build-up in the panel as well. I did not see any grounding in the panel which led me to look at the main water shut off and saw there was no grounding there either. I highly recommend getting the panel replaced as it is a major safety concern. This will entail replacing the panel, updating the grounding and bonding, assuring the home is safe from any potential risks that could happen as a result of an unsafe electrical system. Work performed today (11/20/23): Replaced the panel, updated grounding and bonding, and added surge protection. We will follow up to schedule the inspection and BGE. Thank you and have a great day!
Installed hardwiring for ceiling fixtures in three rooms. We installed ceiling fan rated boxes and all three locations and ran a 14 three wire so that ceiling fans could be installed in the future and be controlled by two separate switches.
Reason for today’s visit was to look at installing a customer supplied lights in the first floor hallway. Customers initial request was to install it in a new location and install it on a separate dimmer switch. After talking it over with the customer informed them that I would have to cut a few holes to fish in the new wire they decided they did not want to go that route. We then talked about removing an existing recessed light and installing it in that place. Customer is going to purchase a medallion for us to install to cover up the larger hole from the recessed light. The light the customer purchased is an antique light that is missing the bracket. The holes for the lights are not standard to most fixtures as I will have to find a bracket and or alter it slightly so the screws will lineup. Holes for light are 4” 5/8 apart. The canopy itself is about 5 inches. Return visit is scheduled for October 8th 11-2 time slot. 11/8 Returned today and removed recessed light in the hallway on t
