The technician was on time very knowledgeable, took the time to address all our concerns and questions. He actually showed me what could be a problem and how to correct the issue. He did have some recommendations but was not pushy which I appreciate.
Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He explained everything to us and answered any questions we had. We will definitely use this company again because of the service we experienced with Nick.
All Haas & Sons professionals, from the initial request (provided by Krystal) for service to the completion of the job (provided by Genny), were nothing less than outstanding. They communicated their entire process and pricing upfront, and met all commitments in a timely and efficient manner. Above all, they were knowledgeable, professional and courteous throughout the home electrical services provided. I would not hesitate to “highly recommend” their services to family, friends, and neighbors alike. Well done!
From the call to Haas office and the arrival of Mike to repair our electrical problem it was an absolute pleasure. Mike was so patient and professional doing a great job restoring our electricity. He was very friendly and obviously has a lot of experience, making us feel very safe with his suggestions. Thanks Haas and Sons Electrical. We will definitely use you in the future!
Very good walk-thru of items to be done and the electrician did go over their estimate to do the items requested before he left. But still haven't received my written estimate via email as I requested.
Great communication in arranging appointment and during appointment
Nick was amazing. Our issue was very simple to resolve, but he took the time to explain everything to me, kindly and thoroughly. He was very respectful of my home, and my lack of knowledge. I will definitely use this business for future electrical needs, and highly recommend them to others.
The task Matt tackled for us was spread out over four long (for him) days, and he was prompt every day. Matt was very professional and his work ethic is beyond reproach. The work involved relocating a breaker panel, and running a new supply line on the outside of the house.. What I was most impressed by, though, was the fact that out of four electrical contractors we asked for prices, Matt/Haas and Sons was the only one who didn't balk when we asked for a permit to be pulled for the job. I would absolutely recommend Haas and Matt for any electrical work you need to have performed.
Alex was a pleasure to have in my home and very professional in the work he was doing. He was efficient and got a lot of work done in a short amount of time.
Would definitely recommend. Diagnostic skills were excellent and corrected the problem very efficiently and provided clear explanations as to what was the problem.
Nick was outstanding, diagnosed problem quickly; explained the source, the solution and cost up front; and finished the job expertly! 5 STAR work!!!
Very easy to contact. Michael was amazingly efficient, neat and clean. He is extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy, pleasant and a pleasure to work with,
Arrived onsite and the old resident showed us up to the condo, and we met with the new resident that showed us the inspection report. It was at this time they expressed they only wanted to address the items on the inspection for now, which included double taped neutrals on the neutral bar, a ground on the neutral bar, a hot for a circuit that was too short and was ran across the main lug area to reach, and multiple multifeeds. I also discussed whole home surge protection with them as well. The other item after looking over the report was lack of gfci protection and a proper cover on the balcony. I wrote up some options and ended up addressing all the direct concerns from the report, and verified that everything we touched is now working properly and installed to code. After work was complete i did a walkthrough with the resident and showed them everything has been corrected.
Reason for todays visit with the customer was a dedicated circuit for the new water heater. Customer at this time is still trying to figure out the equipment. We provided a quote for running the circuit. Our secondary quote was to run a new circuit, fix a shared neutral circuit, and put in surge protector. Customer is looking to get the work done roughly a month from now. He will call if he decides to move forward when the new water heater arrives.

Today’s visit was for power loss in living room. We found that the devices were backstabbed and also falling apart. The breaker also needed to be replaced as it would not reset. This is including with the wires taken off. We gave customer option to re-device the whole house however, it was not doable at this time. Customer opted to replace all the devices on the affected circuit as well as replacing the breaker for that circuit. He also requested we replace another breaker for his kitchen lighting. We also ran a new circuit in the panel room area with three different receptacle locations. Work is complete. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you so much!
Reason for the call was bathroom GFCI circuit keep tripping. We saw that one of the breakers on the circuit was melted and overheated. We did a full assessment of the home and saw that the devices were very old and falling apart. They were backstabbed, which is a key factor of overheating and power loss. Gave customer options to remove and replace all devices throughout the house, replace breakers in panel for multi wire branch circuits, and also replace the exterior light. Customer moved forward with all of the above. Work is complete. Please let us know if there is anything else that we could do for you. It was a pleasure!
-Arrived onsite and she showed me to the panel where she explained the va inspector that was looking at the home for the buyers didn’t like the double tapped breaker. I went and opened up the panel and found the chime wire on with the top breaker. I explained that it is technically legal via the new but that i could split it up and put it a dedicated breaker if she would like and that’s what i did. I extended the chime wire down and added a breaker on the bottom left and labeled it doorbell. While i was in the panel i also went and tightened down all the connections before reinstall the cover as well.
Reason for the call was switch in master bedroom, not working. I was doing our assessment we saw that all of the devices throughout the home were backstabbed and deteriorating badly. We also saw that the panel did not have surge protection. Please see below for work performed. Replace devices throughout home Install whole home surge
-Arrived onsite and gave an explanation of everything the whole home maintenance inspection and what was involved in that and then Tyler went upstairs and started by adjusting the attic fan because they didn’t feel it was running enough, but then adjusted it back to 105 degrees as a happy medium the residents picked. I started at the panel and found 2 shared neutral/ multifeed circuits, i found the bonding insufficient at the hot water heater and no gas bond, and the smoke detectors looked original to the house based off what i could see. I talked to him about a backup battery for his sump pump and a redevice while i was there as well, and also wrote up estimates for those to be done. Tyler replaced all 3 smoke detectors while i removed the 4 single pole breakers, and installed the 2, 2 pole breakers on the multifeeds, and installed the proper bonding as well. Once done, everything was tested and verified working.
-Arrived onsite and discussed with the homeowner about the existing smoke detectors that were all out of date and what would be needed to update them all to modern safety standards. while we were talking about the basement once we also discussed adding one in the back storage room as well, and i found a lack of bonding from hot to cold to gas in the house. I also took a look at the main pane while down here and although it’s getting a little older, I don’t see any immediate concerns at this time. I wrote up my recommendations as well as talked to her about the vip membership plan we offer, and she is now a member, and we went ahead and completed the removal and replacement of 3 smoke carbon combos, one on each floor. Then fished off the basement smoke back into the unfinished room to add a 4th. We also added the bonding while down there as well. After we finished and cleaned up, we tested and verified all the smoke detectors work properly.
Reason for today’s visit was to look at hooking up power to the new pergola. We installed all the lights that came with it, as well as the two new heaters. We were in all the new wiring up in the above channels and down to the new quad receptacle that we installed in place of an unused disconnect. We install two new GFCI’s outside, as well as replace the breaker to a two pole 20 amp breaker. We then replaced customer supplied floodlight on the second story outside the back bedroom window. Lol on site. We also added a new floodlight on the right side of the Home in Wichita power out of the middle receptacle in the primary bedroom. Arrived onsite today to take a look at the scope of work in both the family room and the master bedroom for two TV’s wall-mounted & outlets installed behind them. We checked the main electrical panel and verified that the two circuits do in fact have arc-fault breakers, but the electrical panel had no whole-home surge protection installed. We made mention of this to the homeowner and provided a solution to address the lack of surge protection as well. Homeowner made mention that he may be interested in replacing his current gas cooktop with a fully electric cooktop, we advised that he decide which cooktop he would like to install and provide the specification of the individual model, so we could then at that point provide proper pricing for the new cooktop circuit. The homeowner let us know that he had a few other electricians scheduled to come out and provide quotes for the TV project, and asked us to email pricing.

the reason for todays visit was to provide a solution on installtion of a new dedicated circuit for an EV charger. When arrived i saw a 200 amp QO panel installed in 5/20. There were no major concerns of the panel however, the panel did not have whole home surge protection. After assessing the panel, the customer and I were going over the solutions and touching base with her options on installation. It was suggested that we installed a new dedicated circuit with an EV receptacle landing on a GFCI 50 amp breaker. Customer stated she would like the outlet below the panel. After discussing the options for her solutions she would like to discuss it over and if deciding to move forward will reach out to schedule.
