Excellent service and technician

Nick was amazing. Our issue was very simple to resolve, but he took the time to explain everything to me, kindly and thoroughly. He was very respectful of my home, and my lack of knowledge. I will definitely use this business for future electrical needs, and highly recommend them to others.

Excellent service, polite and professional eletrician

The task Matt tackled for us was spread out over four long (for him) days, and he was prompt every day. Matt was very professional and his work ethic is beyond reproach. The work involved relocating a breaker panel, and running a new supply line on the outside of the house.. What I was most impressed by, though, was the fact that out of four electrical contractors we asked for prices, Matt/Haas and Sons was the only one who didn't balk when we asked for a permit to be pulled for the job. I would absolutely recommend Haas and Matt for any electrical work you need to have performed.

Customer originally called us out to check out a broken pull chain keyless light fixture in laundry room. When i examined the issue the customer decided it was best for me to run a 14-3 wire from the light junction box in the ceiling and run that to the outside wall of the room so i could install a single pole light switch inside an old work single gang box. I then supported my wires in the ceiling i then installed a new switch controlled keyless light fixture that we supplied. On my safety evaluation i noticed that the customer had multiple double tapped neutrals inside the panel and they were missing a whole home surge protector. I removed all the double tapped neutrals also the grounds that were incorrectly installed under the screws. The national electrical code required neutrals to be under their own separate screw and grounds may have 2 under the same screw but must be same size. So i made it so the neutral bar is up to code. Also the range circuit neutrals were separated

The original call was to estimate the cost of installing 2 customer-supplied ring devices. The first a doorbell camera to replace the existing button. The second was a ring flood light to replace the existing rear exterior light. In addition, we were to remove and replace two light fixtures in the top floor hall with new customer-supplied lights. Lastly, we were to install a TV mount and television in the living room. During the assessment, I noted the lack of surge protection, common trip handle breakers, and double-tapped neutrals. Lastly no bonding at water heater was present. We have delivered pricing regarding various tasks. No work performed today.

We will remove and replace outside light fixture with a customer supplied light fixture and install a new longer siding block to protect the longer light fixture from potential weather damage We will install a fan light speed control switch for fan in living room We will remove and replace a lamp post photocell for the lamp post in front yard VIP membership We came out here because customer was having flickering light issues the customer had non-dimmable lightbulbs in the light fixtures so when we come out to do the work we will also change to light fixtures lightbulbs with customer supplied dimmable LED lightbulbs The living room space heater fireplace is also hooked to the kitchen countertop receptacle with the coffee maker so when the coffee maker is on and the fireplace is on it’s drying too much energy tripping the breaker my recommendation is to move the coffee maker on the other side of the kitchen countertop where the receptacles are on different circuits 12/26 We return

The original call was to check power loss to a dishwasher and a receptacle located at the kitchen island. During the initial troubleshooting phase, I noted the dishwasher plugged into a gfci near garbage disposal. There were no gfci receptacles in kitchen, but protected by a gfci breaker. I noted 2 other receptacles without power. The breaker must’ve been tripped. Approaching the CH BR 200A type panel, i noted no surge protection. During the assessment portion, I noted the lack of surge and potentially damaged GFCI receptacles in the home. The customer chose the upgrade solution, which included 5 new GFCI receptacles, a new combo breaker for the kitchen appliance circuit, and the premium surge protector. We installed new GFCI receptacles at the sump pump, panel, first-floor bathroom, and 2 GFCIs under the kitchen sink. We replaced the older combo breaker for the kitchen appliance circuit and, lastly, installed a premium surge protector at the panel. The customer declined the me

I removed all devices on Home GFCI circuit then I installed a tamper resistant GFCI that was underneath the electrical panel there has to be a GFCI there due to the fact that there’s a concrete floor and an unfinished area everything outside I installed temper resistant weather resistant GFCI’s with new in use bubble covers when I opened up all the junction boxes I spliced all the appropriate wires together than pigtail off the splice took the single wire and landed it on the line side of the GFCI this is to ensure the best and safest possible connection throughout the electrical circuit I also line sided all the GFCI’s so that if a GFCI trips in one area on the circuit it will not affect the rest of the circuit it will send power to the rest of the GFCI’s outside and underneath the electrical panel I remove the existing GFCI breaker so that way there was not a nuisance trip and I installed a standard single pole 15 amp BR breaker Customer is also now a VIP member

The reason for today’s visit was customer had a single pole light switch in master bath room that did not work. While doing my performance and safety assessment, I noticed multiple points of concern. The panel was a 2002 Homeline QO MLO with double tapped neutrals. I walked throughout home with customer and pointed out things that I saw. The home had devices that were very loose and the springs were worn in the receptacles to the point that plugs were falling out. While doing P.S.A I also saw outdated Carbon/smoke combo in the center of the living room. Customer did not have any smoke detectors in bedrooms. While plug checking, I saw one of the GFCI’s on the kitchen island had a broken face on the device. I also noticed that the washer did not have any GFCI protection as per NEC code. Customer declined any work at this time and only approved discounted service charge.
