My experience was phenomenal.. it was an old school customer service, at its best type of experience.. my garage doors won’t open and my electrical circuit keeps keep tripping and turning off my appliances in the basement. I searched The Howard County Best Pick Reports 2022 and looked for an electrician, it was a little after 5 PM. I read all the companies reviews and began to call based on what I read on quality and timeliness. My first two calls went directly to voicemail message, my third call went to Haas and Sons Electric Inc. A polite and professional young lady answered the phone, took my information and promised a call back in the morning. Next morning I check my phone and I received a voicemail from a young lady named Krysta, she gave me clear instructions to call her back, when I did she answered on the second ring! She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, professional and most importantly friendly! She told me when to expect the technician “Nick” and he arrived exactly in that time frame with a text letting me know he was 15 minutes away! Once he arrived Nick was absolutely professional, knowledgeable, patient with my questions and fixed both of my issues within an hour!! Ladies & Gentlemen, I have found my new electrician for the next 10 years!! Thank you so much Krysta & Nick , lunch on me!!! A very Satisfied Customer
Thanks for doing a great job!
Matt was very professional. After I explained where I wanted my front house lights to go he completed the job and cleaned up after himself. Great job!
Haas & Sons has done great work for us. We might have been able to get a slightly cheaper price but for the quality of work that was done, the honesty, and the care that was shown, Haas & Sons was worth every penny.
I had quite a bit of work that was needed but not urgent. These people came out to give me an estimate. They were out and changed my panel and I had work done in every room in the house and outside. They did the work in less than two days. The people worked, were friendly, and kept the place clean. No problems and I was very happy with our decision.
Was expecting an appointment a day or so out from my call but a workman came by within the hour as he had just finished a nearby job. Friendly, fast and efficient.
The work was done back in September; I like to wait a bit to see how things are going before reviewing. Our new over-range microwave oven is working great. We are very pleased with the quality of the work and the result. The new circuit had to be run through our finished basement, up into the kitchen, and the work was done carefully and with minimal disruption. There was a minor follow-up issue with the installation of the microwave, but Alex promptly took care of it. I highly recommend Haas and Sons.
Courteous, fast and helpful!
Very nice gentleman. Excellent job
Thanks Nicholas Thomas for the excellent service! We will definitely request you again the next time we have electrical projects at our home.
On a brutally hot and humid day, Alex Weber installed a motion sensor security light, replaced several exterior lights, removed and replaced the bathroom exhaust fan motor. In addition he removed and replaced a damaged light box. Alex is a perfectionist who works with a great deal of precision. His work is timely, accurate and thorough, He takes pride in his work and seeks to exceed customer expectations. I'm extremely happy with his work. His outstanding efforts inspire confidence and reflect well on Haas & Sons. I'll be sure to contact them for future electrical service needs!
Installed a line coming from gfci on front side of the house to new shed on the side of the house. Replaced ceiling fan in kitchen with new.
We have remade all the splices and installed new devices along the loft circuit.
Customer had his house power washed and the bathroom/outside outlets were out and the gfci in the basement controlling them all would not reset The outside outlets had metal covers and were not rated to be outside and were all rusted The customer decided to change all the receptacles on that circuit and change them to gfcis I installed tamper resistant GFCIs in the basement next to the panel and in all the bathrooms. I installed tamper resistant weather resistant GFCIs outside and then installed in use bubble covers and broke the tabs off to protect the cord end and also the device I spliced all the appropriate wires together and pig tailed off the splice and landed the wires on the line side of the gfcis. This makes the best and safest possible connection through the circuit and also allows power to go to other gfcis even if any other gfci were to trip due to weather or power washing again I also installed a new 15 amp BR breaker to ensure the circuit was completely serviced whi
We have relocated the AC breaker in the main panel. It’s new placement is no longer parallel with the loft breaker. In addition we have provided several estimates regarding various electrical projects.
Customer had 3 standard smoke detectors in home that were chirping even after batteries were replaced. We removed all 3 units (1 on each floor) and installed new hard wired units with 10 year sealed back up batteries. Batteries do not get replaced in these units.
I removed and replaced a lamp post light in the front yard Customer supplied. I also disconnected a porch low voltage light and helped the customer because he wants new ones for his back porch. He will take the light to a lighting store and get new ones
I ran a 6-2 romex (40 amp circuit) from the main electrical panel in the basement behind the finished walls to prevent and hole the customer would have to patch into the unfinished area in the basement then up into the joists over to the wall where the basement ends and the garage begins. I drilled a hole and ran the wire into the garage through a piece of pvc pipe to protect the wire. I ran it into a disconnect. Installed a 40 amp breaker then took a piece of seal tight and ran wire into a customer supplied car charger. Then I made all the terminations I installed a 40 amp Homeline breaker in the main electrical panel This car charger is hard wired and can not be moved without a licensed electrician. Not a mobile charging station Customer has 1 year warranty on work preformed
I removed and replaced a gfci on the kitchen counter top that was older and had a crack on the inside of the device Then I replaced a outlet on the kitchen countertop that wasn’t gfci protected and installed a gfci I removed and replaced all smoke detectors. One on each floor and due to the fact there is a attached garage we had to replace them with carbon monoxide smoke detector combos one on each floor and by the front door I replaced one with a regular smoke detector I removed a older bathroom exhaust fan motor in the upstairs hallway/master bathroom and replaced it with a new motor I removed and replaced a receptacle in the upstairs guest bedroom due to the wire insulation being damaged Panel inspection was good. No double tapped neutrals There were multi feeds on single pole breakers but other than that the panel looked very well done. Also left a estimate for a surge protector Customer has a 6 month warranty on work preformed
WO-TNFR78346 We have repaired the kitchen appliance circuits. Including replacement devices as well as new breaker. We shall return once the arc fault breaker is delivered and install. We have installed the new 2pole 20A arc fault breaker in the panel to control the kitchen appliance circuits.
I installed a customer supplied ceiling fan in the master bedroom I installed a fan rated side mount box and ran a 14-3 switch leg to a existing switch I had to rewire and re device the switch controlled receptacle I also installed a in wall fan control switch which the customer is able to control all functions on the fan from the switch which should extend the life of the fan Customer has 30 day warranty
We have installed a new customer supplied lamp post head.
This estimate includes the installation of a customer supplied ceiling fan. We have installed a new customer supplied ceiling fan and have replaced the damaged switch.
Customer called due to open air splices in the attic. I found whoever wired the fan cut a 14-3 wire and open air spliced it to a extension cord wire that fed the ceiling fan. Also found the fan was attached to a light fixture box So I installed a side mounted ceiling fan rated box and ran a new 14-3 romex wire out of the fan and put in a new work box and spliced the wires together then came out of that new work box and installed the other cut wires in another new work box and attached all those wires together. Then blanked them off. I installed the customers fan. The light fixture on the fan doesn’t work and didn’t before I worked on it. Most likely needs a new light fixture or a new fan I installed a customer supplied bathroom exhaust fan motor swap kit
Increased service from 200amp to 400amp. Installed new 200amp QO panel. Installed new whole home surge protector. Installed Arc-Fault protection for basement and bedrooms. Move circuits from old panel to new to eliminate tandem breakers. Ran new grounds to cold water. Install new ground rods and ran ground to panels. Eliminated double tapped neutrals in old panel.
Installed new ring video door bell at front door. Installed new ring hardwired camera over garage doors (new location) Tapped power out of the garage door outlet. Installed new ring flood light camera in place of 1st floor walk out light. All cameras were customer supplied.
