Outstanding!

I feel as if I had a much-needed lesson in home electricity operation from Michael. As a former teacher myself, I felt he did a good a job of explaining what he was about to do, considering I am unfamiliar with many of the technical terms. He and Blaine seemed to be working very efficiently, and I was delighted to have so many little problems corrected within the 5 (or so) hours they were here. I feel that my house is much safer now, and many household tasks will be easier for me to complete than they were before. Thank you, Michael and Blaine! (I don't really feel I can fairly evaluate the cost since my experience is so limited, and I had no other estimates.)

Nice job repairing broken outlet

We had an outdoor outlet that was fixed once before by another electrician and not working again. Alex suggested a fix to our GFIs that we was not cheap, but is a huge convenience because we no longer have frequent outlet outages following rains. He also quickly installed an outdoor light for us. Price is a bit high but done right

Excellent Service

Dennis worked with the deck company that was installing a deck to move an outdoor circuit to a more suitable location. The outlet move required a bit of work inside my home to bring things up to code. He explained everything and answered all of my questions. His work was excellent.

Amazing Service!!

Michael Wendler was an absolute total professional while at our home. He was courteous, efficient & communicated exactly what he thought the problem was & how he was going to approach it. He was as customer service oriented as anyone could be & should teach classes on how to interact with customers inside their home. As a result we will be having much more work done in our home by Hass & Sons. Also kudos to "Alex" & "Jenny" for their efforts on our behalf as well. They were also extremely professional! Finally I would like to thank "Krysta" for her professional manner over the phone (first impressions DO count) as this is not something one typically experiences anymore but in this case she represented Haas & Sons with excellent communication skills & a great demeanor! Thank you to everyone involved! Craig.

Arrived onsite and the resident showed me the heat detector that matched the brand of smoke detectors they had installed into their home, build in 2022. He is getting solar done and they are requiring a heat detector to be installed in the garage for where the battery will be for safety reasons. I checked the Leviton panel and noticed the lack of whole home surge, which i went over the importance of especially with solar being installed, and double checked to make sure the smoke detector circuit was arcfault protected. I measured out the circuit and wrote him multiple options depending on whether the solar company wants permits or not, and one with the surge protection, which is the one i highly recommend. For today he just wanted to get some numbers because the project isn’t being done till June with solar so i am emailing the resident the estimates.

Today’s visit was for running a new circuit from the home to the new shed. We would run a 120V, 20A circuit underground using directional boring from the main panel to the shed. This circuit would be protected by a dual function breaker. We added an option to run the circuit from the sub panel in the addition of the home. This panel is newer and has more space. The downside of this option is it is farther from the home and would require slight drywall repair. The final option is to replace the existing main panel. The panel is much older and should be replaced. It is an older split buss panel with no main breaker which is at full capacity. Especially after we run the new circuit for the shed. We would replace the panel, install a disconnect, update grounding and bonding, install surge protection, pull permit, and coordinate with the power company. The option with the panel also includes the circuit for the shed. Please see attached for all options discussed on site. Let us know if

Reason for today’s call was kitchen circuit stopped working earlier in the week. Then started working again when she plugged her coffee pot into it a couple of days later. Everything was working when I arrived, however, I opened everything to take a look at it anyways and saw that both kitchen circuits were backstabbed on a 20 amp circuit which is highly unusual. The wires were starting to overheat and melt, and the countertop was not GFCI protected. Two out of the six receptacles were reading ground/hot reverse. To prevent having issues with the kitchen circuits again, we replaced all devices minus the GFCI she had replaced three years ago. See below for entire scope. Replace both kitchen circuits with new devices (2) interior GFCIs (4) standard duplex receptacles See also below for list of experts to repair your drywall from your plumbing issue. Thank you for your business!

Install new jumper wire from dining area into the kitchen to re-feed the kitchen. Reason for today’s visit was to assess an issue that was occurring yesterday when Josh had went out, but continue to do it after he had left. After assessing the issue, we were able to find that there was a bad wire, jumping from the dining room to the kitchen, causing the breaker to trip when a load was put on the outlets. While re-feeding the dining room to the kitchen, I found that the wires going down to the outlet on the kitchen wall in the dining room were pinched underneath of the ductwork. We cut those wires out and installed a new receptacle with a new wire in the dining room wall and re-fed the kitchen to gang via a junction box in the attic. We also ran a new jumper from the dining room receptacle near the front window over to the kitchen to connect the power. while doing this, we replaced all the outlets on the front wall in the dining room on the circuit as they were beginning to melt, and we

Reason for today’s visit with the customer was loss of power on the kitchen counter top. Upon inspection one of the GFCI’s had a neutral terminal that failed and the wire backed itself out. Two of the GFCI’s also on the counter were cracked and due to fail soon due to the age and condition. We recommended replacement of all four GFCI’s located on the counter. The customer requested we correct the wiring on the two recently installed one and then replace the two that were failing as opposed to replacing all four. The customer proceeded with this solution. When we completed the work and went to plug in the fridge it instantly tripped the breaker. we tested continuity in the fridge cord and it rang continuity. We recommended the customer leave the fridge unplugged and suggested repair or replacement before resuming use.
