Excellent Service

Dennis worked with the deck company that was installing a deck to move an outdoor circuit to a more suitable location. The outlet move required a bit of work inside my home to bring things up to code. He explained everything and answered all of my questions. His work was excellent.

Amazing Service!!

Michael Wendler was an absolute total professional while at our home. He was courteous, efficient & communicated exactly what he thought the problem was & how he was going to approach it. He was as customer service oriented as anyone could be & should teach classes on how to interact with customers inside their home. As a result we will be having much more work done in our home by Hass & Sons. Also kudos to "Alex" & "Jenny" for their efforts on our behalf as well. They were also extremely professional! Finally I would like to thank "Krysta" for her professional manner over the phone (first impressions DO count) as this is not something one typically experiences anymore but in this case she represented Haas & Sons with excellent communication skills & a great demeanor! Thank you to everyone involved! Craig.

Customer originally called because they are having their deck replaced and there is a light under the deck that is too close and they wanted it relocated. Also the deck receptacle was not working correctly. The customer is having the siding replaced around the door to the downstairs sliding glass door so I informed her I can remove the light fixture and I can detach that light from the switch making it so that the electrical wire sticking out would no longer be energized and no longer a threat to anyone working near it but since they are replacing the siding around the door frame it’s best for them to put up the new siding and have the wire sticking out so that I can come back and put in a two piece siding block and also reinstall a new light fixture versus me putting up the new light fixture now and then having to take everything down When they install the new siding they are lowering the deck by 2 inches so what I did was I remove the light fixture and saw that the wires were just

The reason for today’s visit with the customer was to quote on replacement of the exhaust fan that no longer works. After initially meeting customer, i was shown the full bath in the hallway that had the exhaust fan issue. The exhaust fan was a NuTone singular fan that had no light attachment. When testing the fan, the motor was not turning over but the housing itself was receiving correct power. I tested the switch and saw the devices were back stabbed and recommended replacement of those properly terminating around the lugs. After viewing the bathroom issues, i was taken to the panel which was in the basement utility room. The panel was a 200 amp Siemens, with (2) AFCI breakers for the smoke detectors and the master bedroom. I showed customer on how to test them monthly as well as brought to his attention about the shared neutral circuit that i saw. I also brought to his attention that the panel looked great, had proper GFCI protection in the home, In-use covers, and proper grounding

We met with the customer to originally discuss the installation of four recess lights in the living room and two ceiling fans. The first ceiling fan was in the downstairs bedroom and the second was in the upstairs bedroom. We provided a quote to the customer for this project and for a GFCI installation. While doing our home safety inspection we noted a few things that needed attention. The first was the washer outlet was not on a GFCI circuit. The second was service cable had multiple frays and tears in it. The third was two outdoor receptacles didn’t have proper weather proofing protection. We made two more additional quotes after seeing these things. The second quote was the same as the first but we added the corrections for the outdoor receptacles to bring them up to current safety standards. The third quote was a whole panel upgrade. Due to the county we would have to do Surge Protection, Grounding and Bonding, and Emergency disconnect in addition to the Service line change and pan

Installation of new 100 amp MLO Sub-Panel located in the garage. The panel currently has many hazards such as burnt breakers, over heated neutrals, double tapped neutrals, and incorrect labeling of feeder wires. With installation of panel, customer also has devices that currently are damaged such as three gfci and one reverse polarity device. These devices would be replaced and new devices would be installed correctly with pigtailing wires to prevent power loss.

We have determined that the smoke alarms are prone to nuisance alarms. We recommend changing brands or cleaning them regularly. We recommend having the common trip handle breakers and surge protection installed.

Customer originally called in due to a gfci on the kitchen counter making a popping sound also a breaker was humming. Unfortunately neither wee making the noises while i was there but the gfci was showing signs of being damaged with the green light no longer flashing also the test button being weak so I recommended we change that. We couldn’t figure which breaker was making that noise. The panel is older and i do recommend we change it but customer is just focusing on the immediate fixes at the moment. I told them next time it makes that noise try and listen closer to see which breaker is making that noise then video tape it as well so we can provide a better diagnosis. So today we only changed the kitchen (left of sink) gfci

Today’s visit was for circuit breaker tripping. Circuit was on arc fault breaker. When doing investigation, I saw ground wire touching receptacle in area affected. Customer had replaced receptacles himself. I also noticed the panel did not have surge protection. Please see attached estimate for us to install this for you. Have a great weekend!

The reason for today’s visit with the customer was a call out for installation of three ceiling fans located on the second floor in three different rooms. After meeting the customer we were lead to each room where the fans were looking to be installed. After viewing the rooms the customer then led us to the panel location where i saw a 2012 200 amp Homeline panel. The panel did not have any surge protection or any hazards at this time. The panel had multiple circuits that were landed with arc-faults and expressed to the customer about the testing and importance of surge protection. After viewing the panel we began a further assessment of the home where outlets and devices were tested. The customer had new 10 year sealed Kidde smoke/carbon detectors throughout home. Customer also had GFCI protection where required within six foot of water. After finishing the assessment, we began to create solutions here today and then went over those solutions with the customer. At this time no work ha

Installation of new deck outlet deriving power from current outside outlet that is in the way of the new deck railings. New outlet will be ran from a new junction box located in the laundry room to convert NM wire to weather rated UF wire. Wire would be ran by way of center of railing post and then mounted to the front of the post for ease of access.
