Nice job repairing broken outlet

We had an outdoor outlet that was fixed once before by another electrician and not working again. Alex suggested a fix to our GFIs that we was not cheap, but is a huge convenience because we no longer have frequent outlet outages following rains. He also quickly installed an outdoor light for us. Price is a bit high but done right

Excellent Service

Dennis worked with the deck company that was installing a deck to move an outdoor circuit to a more suitable location. The outlet move required a bit of work inside my home to bring things up to code. He explained everything and answered all of my questions. His work was excellent.

Amazing Service!!

Michael Wendler was an absolute total professional while at our home. He was courteous, efficient & communicated exactly what he thought the problem was & how he was going to approach it. He was as customer service oriented as anyone could be & should teach classes on how to interact with customers inside their home. As a result we will be having much more work done in our home by Hass & Sons. Also kudos to "Alex" & "Jenny" for their efforts on our behalf as well. They were also extremely professional! Finally I would like to thank "Krysta" for her professional manner over the phone (first impressions DO count) as this is not something one typically experiences anymore but in this case she represented Haas & Sons with excellent communication skills & a great demeanor! Thank you to everyone involved! Craig.

Installation of three new devices located in the primary bedroom. These devices controlled the above lighting for the shower/vanity and the closet lighting. Currently devices are back stabbed causing premature power loss. We would install with new pig-tails to the new device to ensure proper connection.

Arrived onsite and the resident showed us to the garage where he wanted the tesla charger mounted, and then we went into the basement, and took a look at his electrical panels. The left one has a slightly lower load so that would be the panel we would pull from. I took measurements on the run, found that neither panel had surge protection inside of it, and then went over discussing pulling a permit because that was of interest to him. I walked him through our process of installation and what to expect, wrote up a few options for him and then sat down and reviewed them. At this time he is getting a few other quotes so i am going to email the estimates to resident for him to have on file.

Today’s visit was for circuit tripping when daughter plugged into a receptacle in her bedroom. While doing the assessment, we saw that the circuit was on an arc fault breaker. These are very sensitive and can trip very easily. We also saw that the devices throughout the home were very old and some are loose when plugging into. They should also be tamper resistant, which they are not as of right now. In the panel, there is no surge protection. Customer also wanted quote to replace wall sconce in loft area. Please see attached to get these taken care of for you.

Today’s visit was for the annual maintenance inspection. During the assessment, I saw a few notable things. First, the panels are old and should be replaced, the grounding needs to be updated, and there is no surge in the panel. That being said, I at least recommend getting the grounding updated as the home is completely exposed to electrical shocking hazards. I am giving two separate quotes. One to replace panel which includes grounding as well and one just for updating the grounding. Work performed today below. GFCIs in bathrooms upstairs and first floor. Both kitchen receptacles and on the front in between garage doors.

Arrived onsite and the resident showed us to his basement where he explained he had the water main replaced recently and wanted to make sure the grounding got hooked back up properly. I came in and found the new and old ground, 1 went to each panel and re clamped those on and jumped it to the old main as well that still left the house. I also updated the bonding at the hot water heater as well. Afterwards i completed a performance and safety assessment and presented my findings, as well as talked to him about our membership because he mentioned upcoming projects he might want to get done as well. Replace ground clamps at cold water main, jump between mains. Updates bonding at hot water heater.

Today’s visit was for two separate three-way switches not working. Upon arrival, customer explained that they tried to replace the devices themselves. It turned to be out that they were wired incorrectly. While on site, I identified multiple safety concerns that I suggest getting taken care of as soon as possible. The devices throughout the home are old and deteriorating, the smoke detectors are yellow in color and should be replaced, there is no surge in the panel, and the customer also would like a dedicated circuit for the microwave. Please see attached solutions to get this resolved for you.
