Excellent Service!

Mike was great! Did an excellent job of checking out the problem and made some repairs at my request. It was great that he was able to come out today and address the issue in my guest bedroom that tripped the switch in the panel.. Now I can sleep a little easier knowing the problem has been checked out. He even took a little time and gave my little doggies the attention they wanted!! Haas and Sons Electrical are the best!

Outstanding!

I feel as if I had a much-needed lesson in home electricity operation from Michael. As a former teacher myself, I felt he did a good a job of explaining what he was about to do, considering I am unfamiliar with many of the technical terms. He and Blaine seemed to be working very efficiently, and I was delighted to have so many little problems corrected within the 5 (or so) hours they were here. I feel that my house is much safer now, and many household tasks will be easier for me to complete than they were before. Thank you, Michael and Blaine! (I don't really feel I can fairly evaluate the cost since my experience is so limited, and I had no other estimates.)

Nice job repairing broken outlet

We had an outdoor outlet that was fixed once before by another electrician and not working again. Alex suggested a fix to our GFIs that we was not cheap, but is a huge convenience because we no longer have frequent outlet outages following rains. He also quickly installed an outdoor light for us. Price is a bit high but done right

Dennis worked with the deck company that was installing a deck to move an outdoor circuit to a more suitable location. The outlet move required a bit of work inside my home to bring things up to code. He explained everything and answered all of my questions. His work was excellent.

Amazing Service!!

Michael Wendler was an absolute total professional while at our home. He was courteous, efficient & communicated exactly what he thought the problem was & how he was going to approach it. He was as customer service oriented as anyone could be & should teach classes on how to interact with customers inside their home. As a result we will be having much more work done in our home by Hass & Sons. Also kudos to "Alex" & "Jenny" for their efforts on our behalf as well. They were also extremely professional! Finally I would like to thank "Krysta" for her professional manner over the phone (first impressions DO count) as this is not something one typically experiences anymore but in this case she represented Haas & Sons with excellent communication skills & a great demeanor! Reason for today’s visit with the customer was quoting installation of two light fixtures on 18 foot ceilings. There is one ceiling fan and one longer light fixture currently where the new ones will be installed. The new ones are crystal chandeliers. One of them is already fully put together and the other is partly put together. We would need to bring in a Skyscraper ladder to accommodate the height and weight of the new fixtures. There are 450 crystals for both combined light fixtures that would need to be hung At this time customer has the quotes emailed and is thinking over the quotes.

Arrived onsite today and the resident let me know she wants to upgrade her panel which led me down to the basement. She showed me the panel, and i also talked to her about everything that would be involved from grounding, how we would run the cold water ground, what the new panel would look like and include, as well as all the other details in our job. It will be done with a pg county permit and we will replace the service cable as well because it is in bad shape. The other thing is the single smoke detector on the first level that is hardwired and original to the house. After discussing the process i presented options and we moved forward on the job. I let her know the tree that is in front of the meter area would have to be removed or cut down for our job and for bge to be willing to do the tie in as well. We schedules the job for next week for July 16th and 17th. Arrived onsite 07/16/2025 and began by covering the basement in plastic and i started working on removing boards and

Replace maestro dimmer and companion dimmer for kitchen lights The reason for today’s visit was just as power lost going to the kitchen pendant lights. Customer recently had the kitchen completely remodeled by a company who rewired the kitchen installed new maestro dimmer’s. Work was all done professionally and extremely well. However, the maestro dimmer had gone bad, which was not allowing the lights to turn on. There was also a companion dimmer. Customer elected to go with the second option of replacing both to avoid future issue with the other dimmer. Lights are not working properly.

The reason for the visit was kitchen receptacles, not working. It turned out to be a tripped GFCI receptacle. While on site, I spoke with the customer again about her panel and replacing the receptacles for both kitchen circuits. Customer agreed to the work. This solution includes the replacement of the existing panel, service, grounding and bonding updates, permitting and inspections. replacing devices on kitchen circuits. Work is complete. Today’s visit was for power loss to half of the home. During my investigation, I checked the voltage at the main panel as well as at the meter. The loss of face is due to a BGE issue. Customer already has a call out to them and they should be arriving sometime before 4 PM. I told the customer that if they have any issues after BGE fixes the voltage drop, to reach back out to us so we can take care of anything else that needs to be resolved.
