Installation of new dedicated 20 amp circuit from the main panel over to the fireplace tv stand with arc fault, protection
Membership renewed. We have determined that all wires in question are old/abandoned low voltage wiring either for antiquated security systems and/or landline wires. Customer to remove himself.
We were called out today to give solutions to add dedicated circuits for a dryer and washer. We noticed discoloration on the busbar of the panel and corrosion on the grounds and neutrals, as well as these neutrals being double-tapped. We brought these to the landlord’s attention. Please see attached solutions to get these issues resolved.
Reason for today’s call was GFCI circuit tripping. GFCI was connected to basement, outside receptacles, and garage. We saw that the culprit was a melted receptacle on the back deck. We also noticed in the panel there were multi wire branch circuits on single pole breakers, and no surge present. Customer opted to make all corrections. See below for work performed. Replace GFCI circuit with GFCI at each location Install two pole breakers for multi wire branch circuits Install Square D QO surge in main panel On a side note, we recommend installing a dedicated circuit for the outside heaters to keep them separate from standard branch circuit. Also, see attached for estimate to install light. Please call to schedule at your earliest convenience.
Reason for today’s call was partial power loss in two bedrooms. During assessment, we saw that there was a GFI in the crawlspace that was connected to the circuit. It was burnt up and needed to be replaced. We recommended installing a dual function breaker in the panel to not have to reset the breaker in the crawlspace if something were to happen. Please see below for work performed. Install dual function breaker in main panel Replace GFCI in crawl space with duplex

For this job, the customer requested installation of an outlet underneath of the sink for a water filtration system she had purchased. Upon arrival and inspection of the proposed installation location and the filtration unit itself, there were several concerns overall. Firstly, the garbage disposal and the kitchen sink contributed to a lot of ambient humidity inside that section of the cabinet without either in operation. Second, the filtration unit itself did not have a UL listing at all. Upon inspection of her main electrical panel, I observed that it was very full, overloaded, and outdated to be adding any circuits into at this time. After brainstorming with the customer on other locations in the limited space, and informing her of the options we could provide, to the extent of the drywall damage to run the dedicated circuit, she decided that she would most likely return the filtration system and look for a more space-efficient/safer design. We did talk about safety concerns with th
We will replace the damaged service cable that was torn from the house and damaged be a tree branch falling on it during the storm. We will pull a permit with the local jurisdiction of Anne Arundel County. We will create a work order and organize with the power company BGE for this replacement. Due to code regulations, we must install an emergency disconnect on the home's exterior and install whole home surge protection to pass inspections. We will also install a new cable from the existing electrical panel to the disconnect as the old one is too short.
Installation of surge protection, as well as emergency disconnect on the outside of the home Installation of 60 amp circuit for a hardwired customer supply charger on the outside of the home at the end of the driveway
Reason for the call was living room circuit intermittently trips. The customer was explaining to me what all they plug into this circuit, and I suggested splitting the circuit as well as running a dedicated circuit for a space heater, or whatever they would like to use it for. I also saw that the panel, even though new had no surge protection in it. I also recommended installing this as well to prevent destroying appliances. Please see below for work performed. Run circuit to upstairs living room to separate circuit Add receptacle for tv on opposite wall Install surge in main panel Run dedicated circuit for space heater

Arrived onsite and he told me his microwave was tripping his basement circuit or going bad. I did a diagnostic load test on the microwave and on the circuit, and found it to be extremely overloaded. I reccomended a few dedicated feeds with him deciding the main one that would be helpful would be for the microwave. I did my performance and safety assessment and found the panel to be an old Bryant and in not so good condition, as well as a couple other things i went over with him. I wrote up estimates for the panel and dedicated microwave circuit, presented those and answered any questions the resident had. He told me he would like to think about it so i made sure i had the correct email, and got that sent over for him.
