Arrived on site and met with resident where he showed me the charger. Then he led me to the basement where i completed a full performance and safety assessment and i did a load calculation to make sure his panel could handle the charger. He wanted it mounted on the back wall, and then wed have to run it above the drop ceiling downstairs all the way back to the panel. We would mount and install the c/s charger as well. I also made an option with home surge protection as well for him. I presented two options and he would like to think them over before moving on.

Reason for visit was to install EV charger and see if panel needed to be upgraded. We determined that the panel was overfilled and we also recommend upgrading to a 400 A service after doing the load calculation. Please see attached to get these taken care of for you.
The reason for today’s visit was to initially quote installation of a new 60 amp circuit for a EV charger. When arrived customer showed us the location of the panel which was located in the basement utility room. The customer stated he wanted the EV located on the exterior driveway wall opposite side of the home so we provided a solution on installation. Customer had a 2009 Siemens 200 amp panel with a few hazards such as double tapped neutrals and shared neutral circuits. While here, we addressed the hazards with our solutions and recommended repairs. Today the customer stated he was interested in the financing option and the appropriate links were sent. No work has been scheduled at this time.
The reason for today’s visit with the customer was to diagnose an issue with circuits not working on the counter top in the kitchen. After arriving we saw four outlets that were protected by the GFCI in the kitchen currently not on. After speaking with the customer, she stated usually the outlets had an air fryer and coffee maker plugged into them. We took the outlets apart and saw they were line-loaded like a traditional GFCI is supposed to be and all remainder devices were wired properly with no back stabbing. All devices were pass & Seymour and did not have signs of issues. After testing the devices we opened up panel labeled #1 and saw there was a AFCI breaker that was tripped. After resetting the breaker, the circuit then turned on and worked properly. After turning the circuit back on and explaining nuisance trips to the home owner, my diagnoses would conclude this would be the best explanation for this scenario. All devices were in good condition (installed less than 2 years ag

The reason for today’s visit was to provide a solution for customer to install lighting located in the living room, second floor hallway, and both bedrooms on the second floor. While here assessing the panel, i saw a 00’ Square D Homeline panel with many signs of concerns. There were double tapped neutrals, shared neutral circuits, and missing grounding. While checking the service cable i saw the outer jacket was completely ripped open exposing neutrals and feeder wires. I provided a solution for the customer on replacement of this and bringing it up to date with current safety requirements. After viewing the panel, i began providing a solution for four six inch gimbal recessed lights in the living room. Currently customer has a switch controlled outlet and we would turn that into a dimmer for the recessed lights. The second floor housed three fixtures and customer would like to have those replaced with three recessed lights as well in exact location. In two of the bedrooms on the seco
Visit was for receptacles in kitchen not working. While doing assessment, we saw that a lot of the devices are old and broken. We also saw the panel is an old Bryant panel. We recommend getting that replaced as well as updating all devices throughout home. Please see attached to get this resolved for you.
Reason for the call was the receptacle in the garage had stopped working and the customer was concerned about an oversized wire in the panel. While doing the assessment, we saw the oversized wire in question was for the old electrical furnace that was converted to 120V when the gas was installed. They simply reused the existing wire. While inspecting the panel, we saw that it was very old and needed to be updated. On the first day, we installed all of the grounding and bonding. Today we replaced the panel. Let us know if you need anything else. Thank you!
Today’s visit was for running a new switch leg to the shower late due to the husband accidentally cutting through the wire. We also saw during the assessment that the panel should be replaced. However, at least replacing the multi wire branch circuit with two pole breakers to address the immediate safety issues. Wife also requested that we replace a dimmer for a three-way system in the second floor stairwell. Please see below for all work performed. Run new switch leg for shower light from switch to light Replace dimmer in hallway Replace single pole breakers for multi wire branch circuits with two pole breakers
