For this job we came out to estimate. Customer requested recessed lighting in the kitchen area by removing 4 x 2 fixture that’s existing where power and switch leg are present as the fixture is being controlled by two dead and three ways. Upon walking the scope of work, we looked at the panel as we always do and found it to be in poor condition with multiple safety hazards including double tapped breakers, improperly, wired, multi wire branch circuits, no surge protection as well as no water or gas bond present. We provided multiple options for the lighting as well as our safety suggestions then we could be a priority given the condition of not only the panel, but of the service cable.
