CUSTOMER STATED : Customer's shower knob broke and it won't turn off. Shower has been running constantly for 2 days TECHNICIAN NOTES : Out to the residence for the concern of a master bathroom shower not turning off. After investigating, I found that the delta shower cartridge for the master bathroom has become faulty. While on site I have found signs of a failed pressure regulating valve. Water pressure under the kitchen sink water supply shut off is currently reading 40 PSI. Failed prv has caused secondary damage to the delta shower cartridge. AHS has denied the claim. While on site I also found that the homeowner tried turning the water off to the water heater and now the gate valve will not open back up therefore homeowner currently has no hot water. Water is still on to the home. RESOLUTION : No repairs made today. I have showed homeowner estimates on site but she requested that they got sent to her email.
