Excellent Service beginning to end

Over the weekend I discovered I ha d a hot water leak. I could hear the water spraying in the wall and evidence of it showing. I contacted GA Plumbers Monday morning. They were able to make an appointment that afternoon. I was given a link with a picture and name of the person who would come. Preston arrived on time. I asked many questions and Preston answered all my questions and was genuinely kind. Preston and his assistant Melvin were careful keep the area neat as possible with the drywall cutting dust and water. The repair process was quick, Just over an hour. Both men were kind, reassuring, and informative throughout the whole process of GA Plumbers warranty of workmanship as well. I will be requesting GA Plumbers for future issues.

Unrealistic Exorbitant prices...they charged me $800 for less than an hour of work. So they earn $800 an hour!!!

I was in a bind because we had our sink replaced and we had used GA plumber before for home warranty work and they were honest and charged reasonable prices. Well the plumber did a good job but he hooked up lines to sink, replaced a faucet cartridge and fixed another stoppper in a bedroom bathroom. It took 45 mins and charged me almost $800 for less than an hours work. GA Plumber charges exorbitant prices and the price of the work is not commensurate with the complexity of the work. Total ripoff. Will never use them again.

Technician notes: We arrived and inspected the area. There were no visible leaks around the toilet. We checked the downstairs area and were able to see the area that water was pooling on the ceiling under the hall bathroom. We tested the toilet and were able to hear water drips and after a few test flushes we saw water coming through the area on the ceiling with damage and dripping down. We then cut the water and pulled the toilet. The wax ring showed signs of loosing seal due to age. We removed the old ring and access wax to ensure that the flange was not broken. The flange was still intact. We then set a new wax ring and reset the toilet. After resetting the toilet we tested and no longer saw water coming through the damaged area of the ceiling. Resolution/Recommendations: Removed and reset toilet with new wax ring. Tested and there are no longer any leaks

TECHNICIAN NOTES: Upon inspection I found that the steel braided supply line comes up through the basement flooring of the home, and connects to the refrigerator. This refrigerator will require installing an ice maker supply box, and will also require cutting into the drywall along with drilling a new hole for the new pipe connection to the supply box shut off. I made the tenant aware that we will need to submit the necessary repairs for approval as this work is over the NTE limit. RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: The resolution is to have an ice maker supply box installed behind the refrigerator drywall to help fix/prevent any future plumbing issues. I found that there was no signs of any water leaking from the fridge on today’s visit.
