Spoke with Mr. and Mrs. Yee explained active situation with leak on upstairs guest bathtub shower needs to be repaired before accurate leak detection can be performed homeowner has had a few other plumbers out here to take a look at the problem but explained that they have not reviewed their proposals yet we will provide a written estimate to replace the upstairs guest bath tub shower cartridge which is a mix it and perform a cut and If approved by homeowner.
Helped John with his thermostat registration. Scheduled the permits with Nate. He will be performing the HERS test next week

For this job, I diagnosed both systems. We got the downstairs unit working. We had to do a rewire wires were loose on the communication system upstairs in the attic. The upstairs system: Has bad blower motor and blower run capacitor. The system is missing 90% of R22 and the capacitor is bad. Replaced bad capacitor to get the compressor started. We had to cool the compressor off with a water hose. After we got system to run the refrigerant levels are almost missing entirely. Recommend replacing the upstairs system as a permanent solution as repairing it is not. Viable solution due to the obsolescence of the refrigerant gas R22 that is missing. By replacing both systems there is a significant discount that we emailed to Anthony Large with every option ranging from good better best ( upstairs only vs upstairs and downstairs)
First stage completed Set tub, install new ptrap configuration. Set walls in place.
Inject the UV leak dye indicator Add proper amount of R410a refrigerant to proper sub cool Replace 20x25x5 media air filter in attic) Replaced the filter in the attic And added 5.5 pounds of R410a refrigerant With the UV dye. Will return in one to two weeks to search for where the leak is coming from
