It’s misleading to call it a free leak detection service if all one does is use a moisture meter. When you have a leak it’s pretty evident. “Detecting a leak” means to actually identify where the leak is. Cutting up a bunch of drywall not finding the leak and giving up is hardly work. Incompetence at its best!
Inspected both units and found them 36 years old single stage or system downstairs in a 3 ton system upstairs Upstairs heating system was replaced about seven years ago, along with the air ducts There is a flight trip of water upstairs at the air conditioning because the member upstairs is 36 years old in the metal is rusted out Both units are cooling by proper temperature splits at this time however they are CFC and that type of gas is obsolete no longer manufactured anymore Recommend for the most rebate to replace those systems and convert to heat pumps. Long-term solution to the owners advised them that the prices are going up based on the refrigerant changes that are happening currently Collected $49 with a Visa card
No leak was found Explain to customers of potential previously that may have happened, but there’s no current leak Turn on water and tested the wall for any moisture and got zero readings Checked the water software system and they currently have and it is in poor condition Recommended to replace, but they want to do more research information on the systems Wanting to move forward with replacement within the next two weeks Explained Tyler the supervisor will reach out and go over further options when ready
Gave him repair versus his replacement options he will get back to me on Monday he said
Technician replaced thermal couple for customer. Client water heater is 12 yrs of age. Had thermal couple replace already. Client will need a replacement. If thermal couple fails again grommet from burner is deteriorating.will not work if needs to be replaced again.
Complete evaluation of the heating system and the air ducting system. Areas of concern: -37 year old heat exchanger is not certified due to the separations inside the heat exchanger clam shell welds (this may be a potential safety hazard to occupants inside the home during the heating cycle) (see attached photos) -Water has been coming through the evaporator pan into the blower and heat exchanger during the cooling cycle due to the 37 year old metal condensate pan inside the coil. (See attached photos) Air distribution system is original to home and is coming apart around the vapor barriers (see attached photos) System worked properly despite the potential safety hazards. Replaced 20x25x1 filter. Highly recommend replacing the system and converting to a heat pump since solar panels are installed on the roof and there is a federal tax credit up to $2000 this year from converting from natural gas heating to an all electric heat pump.
No pressure lost of the home. Pool leak
For this job, we do the complete diagnostic inspection on the upstairs unit to determine that the system need refrigerant and the UV leak detection estimate sent over to the homeowner for review
Access drywall and ceiling for leak
3/4 is cold line rolled over from the bathroom to the kitchen it is bursted under the slab. To fix this issue we will have to reroute the pipe from the downstairs bathroom to the kitchen. With one stucco at the kitchen. The pipe are pushed against the stucco and would be hard to solder
