I performed a single heating maintenance on a 2019 heat pump system. I checked amps, capacitor, filter, electrical, cleanliness, and safeties. I observed that the growth is returning since cleaning the system in March. Cleaning is only half the battle. It is recommend to install a u/v to stunt the formation of growth. It will likely need to be cleaned again soon. The equipment currently doesn’t have surge protection. We discussed to importance of having some installed. I observed that the condenser fan motor is pulling 75% of the rated 1.14/1.4amps. The fan motor is coming to the end of its life and will likely need replacing soon. I provided options to address these listed items.
