Great Company! Great Customer Service!
Arrived on site, customer stated her bills were higher than last year using the AC the same amount. Informed customer that this could be because of the dirty evaporator coil reducing efficiency. Changed and dated air filter. Used no rinse evaporator to clean indoor coil. As well as brush the hair off the underside of the coil. The coil was extremely dirty and struggling to breathe. Blower motor amps were pretty high and it was noticed that the blower wheel was very dirty. The dirt on the blower wheel is causing drag Causing the motor to accumulate more wear and tear indicated by the high start amp. 20° between supply and return as expected. Upon continuing to the outdoor unit, I washed the condenser coil to promote heat exchange and increase unit efficiency. Start and run Amps on the compressor were within range. Run amps on the condenser fan motor were within range. Contactor Was testing within range 16 ohms. Compressor, capacitor, and fan capacitor were both testing within manufactur
We arrive for unit not cooling properly. On arrival we immediately proceeded outside and found outdoor disconnect, partially unplugged. On further inspection, we found the outdoor contactor burnt and testing near manufactuerer max limit. We were able to turn the unit on and test it since it had been off for several hours. While testing the unit we also inspected the indoor fan motor and temperatures. Temperatures were cooling with 20° drop Which is perfect. We did find the indoor evaporator coil extremely dirty and causing the entire system to stress and contributing to the outdoor contactor failure. I discussed our findings with Stewart and he elected to replace the contactor today before complete failure. We also sent him an estimate to clean the coil and help the overall performance and life of the system. The unit is cooling properly on departure.
Was not able to make contact with tenet. Will need to reschedule.
NEED TO COLLECT MONIES...Per customer...1st thing Friday morning 11/6/2020. Mr Stuart called in and cleared Bill.
Run new low voltage wiring in seal tight to protect wire from critters under home. Pump unit down and reroute line set through wall to protect line set from animals. Add line set cover, level concrete pad, check operation after rerouting line set.
