We performed 2 heating maintenances on 2015 gas systems. We checked amps, electrical, cleanliness, and safeties. We discovered that the blower motor for the downstairs system is in need of a cleaning in the near future. Dust build up causes strain on the motor itself. There is an area on the upstairs system where the seal has come up. This will cause water damage due to condensation formation. We noticed that the equipment does not have surge protection. With the units being on the older side, we advise an extra layer of protection on the outdoor units. These will serve as a buffer for the heart of the system, if a surge were to happen.
