I performed a single system maintenance on a 2017 zoned gas system. I checked amps, filter, electrical, cleanliness, and safeties. I observed that a damper motor was actively trying to fail, the blower wheel was dirty, and the air quality could be improved. I provided options to address these concerns. Below is the work I provided at the time of service. System is heating upon departure. Blower cleaning allows us to remove the dust build up on the wheel. This dust causes drag on the motor and added wear to the internal bearings. The upstairs damper motor is not wanting to spring all the way open. It can be manually opened the rest of the way. This is a sign of future failure.
