Returned to our clients home to concerns that the upstairs unit was not keeping up and cooling properly. We ensured the unit was running on second stage and we then began measuring the refrigerant pressures. We contacted technical support and informed them that the drywall cavity directly behind the thermostat was reading 81/82º while the resort of the walls were measuring 74º. Due to the drastic temperature difference tech support recommended a wireless temperature sensor be connected somewhere else in the room. And that it be left and monitored for 30 days. We ensured the Freon pressured were correct and presented the option for the wireless sensor to Paul. He agreed to try it and we will order the part. Once allocated we will contact him to return and connect the sensor. We did also use silicone to seal off residual heat that has been altering the accuracy of the thermostat. This was not suggest by technical support but seemed to help reduce residual heat affecting the thermostat
