I performed a 2 system heating maintenance on 2018 heat pump systems. I checked amps, capacitors, filters, electrical, cleanliness, heat kits, and safeties. I found that both systems are in need of cleaning, the blower motor on the upstairs unit is missing the keeper screw causing it emit a scrapping noise and damaging the motor itself, both u/v sticks are burnt out, and both outdoor units need hard start kits. I produced options to address these issues. Home owner was not home at the time of service, and I emailed options over for review. I was informed about areas of the downstairs being uncomfortable due to over cooling. I inspected the zoning system. I noticed that the dampers were set to allow air to all areas to the house to relieve pressure inside of the system. I adjusted the dampers to stop allowing air to “bleed” into other areas of the home. I confirmed the system has a bypass, but doing this may cause an issue.
