I performed a single system heating maintenance on a 2018 zoned gas system. I checked zoning, amps, filter, electrical, air quality, cleanliness, and safeties. I verified that the system is heating well. I did notice some issues arising. The blower motor bearings are worn and allowing play in the motor shaft. The will lead to the motor becoming inoperable. The transformer that gives power to the zoning board is running extremely hot and humming loudly. These signs are known to indicate a transformer on its last leg. I brought to the attention of the customer that his current filter set up is allowing dust to bypass the filter. We spoke about upgrading the filtration of the home. Customer had to leave before presenting options. I reach out to Lennox to price the blower motor.
