Preformed heating maintenance on a single heat pump system 2021, upon arrival i set up my air advice machine to test the air quality of the home. I proceeded to the attic to inspect all electrical components and cleanliness throughout the unit. All electrical components were testing within manufacturer specifications. I did find that the uv stick has burnt out and is no longer working. I also found a good amount of build up on the blower wheel. I was getting a supply temperature to the home of 111 degree and 72 returning to the unit. I proceeded outside to test all electrical components and start amps of the the compressor and fan motors. While inspection of the electrical components I found that the capacitor is failing on the fan side at 5.75/7.5 and the compressor side is testing within range. The unit’s compressor is also starting above 100 amps. I left estimates for all areas of concern. Unit was back to cooling upon departure.
