Preformed 2 system heat maintenance on Armstrong air gas furnaces. I tested all electrical components and safeties for both units. All tested within manufacturer specifications. I did notice both blower wheels were dirty. This can cause premature failure in those motors if they aren’t cleaned. Temp being supplied to the home from unit 1 was at 124 and unit 2 at 120. Both filters needed to be changed but client did not have filters at this time. 16x25x1 and 20x25x1. I proceeded to visually inspect the outside units, I noticed both units did not have any type of surge protection on them. Units were heating upon departure.
