Customer called in requesting service the AC in the Nursery building was freezing up. I arrived at the business and spoke with customer about the concern and began diagnostics. I started by verifying that both system’s were functioning properly. I installed the gauges and checked refrigerant pressures, I let the system run and after about 30min of run time the suction line would begin to freeze. I then checked the condition of the evaporator coil and discovered the problem. The evaporator coil was clogged with dirt restricting the air flow causing the system to freeze up. I cleaned the evaporator coil in place and cleaned and cleared the drain line. The system is now operating properly and cooling as it should be. Thank you for your business today.
