The unit has a dirty indoor coil from not using a filter. This was not something that could be visible on the previous visit due to the unit being a straight cool and had 2 inches of ice on the coil. I cleaned the indoor coil. I scrubbed it with a brush and used a foaming no rinse spray that will continue to clean the coil until it’s been rinsed by condensation. It looked like the condensate drain was clogged so I cleared the condensate drain with a shop vac. The unit unit is producing a good temperature split
The unit was frozen over. The thermostat had a wire that came out not allowing the blower to run. I measured for the filters. These will need a cut to fit filter 35 inches long by 7 1/2 inches wide. These can be found at Home Depot, true value or Ace. The unit is still frozen and is not a heat pump. I had Sierra run the blower until the ice is gone so she can get cooling again. Preferred cool membership visit: Clean & rinse outdoor coil Apply UV protectant to outdoor unit (if plastic) Inspect condensate drain line System temperature split Test indoor & outdoor capacitors Check compressor & fan motors Inspect control boards Check electrical connections Inspect fan blade system Check system static pressure Clean or replace filters Inspect duct connections & insulation levels

The unit had a loose wire nut in the power box of the furnace. The wire had shorted to the cabinet. I repaired the wiring and the unit is operating properly at this time.
Arrived to home Checked both systems Both AHUs original from 2005 1 condenser replaced with Midea (4T) 3.5T extensive rust throughout High inrush amps Bad dual cap Condenser fan motor failing Neither drain has clean outs in place

Arrived to home Set thermostat to cool Checked system operations Found following -no clean outs in drain line -blower panel missing seal -blower safety switch taped shut -coil panel not sealed -leak in Z1 supply duct -dirty blower compartment (due to seal missing) -inrush amps on compressor high -dual capacitor low -return bypass installed which is bad for single stage zone systems (should be dump zone)
Arrived to home Checked blower - good Zoning calling for cool Checked condenser Found bad dual capacitor Start windings damaged Ducting has return bypass in lieu of dump zone Needs to be reduced to allow for better efficiency and comfort Performed following repairs Inrush kit Dual Amrad capacitor
Arrived to home - set thermostat to cool - checked system - found following: - bad dual capacitor (hole in body) - bad fan motor (ruptured seal) - bad inrush kit (popped) - bad contactor (burnt/pitted) Fan motor Contactor Inrush kit Dual cap *complimentary coil bath
Arrived to home Checked air flow on AHU - good Started freezing on indoor coil Low heat transfer Leak in system
I checked out equipment operations, would recommend maintenance plan to keep equipment clean and operating good.
Arrived to home Checked system Found existing separated CFM cap bad (had dual cap not being used was good) Sub cool low Temp split low Rust inside air handler Existing supply plenum too small Disconnect warped Air handler switch sparks when turning on (warped as well) Contactor pitted and beginning to burn Start amps excessively high
found the thermostat wasn’t fully installed onto its base. The homeowner had reset the blown breaker. I checked the units operations and it is operating within running amps and the capacitors tested good. The outdoor fan motor case temperature tested OK. The unit is suffering from excessively high starting apms, causing it to trip breaker I recommended inrush kits for both units and maintenance plans to get both units serviced
