Arrived on site and performed an evaluation and assessment of Angela’s Haier mini split system. The system was installed 5 years ago and has had consistent problems since installation. The downstairs bedroom unit consistently shows an F41 error code, and Angela has to cycle power at the outdoor unit every time to resolve it. The unit is question is a 24k btu 3 head outdoor unit and it is hooked up to a 9k indoor head. There is 12k head that is hung on the wall in the downstairs but has never been connected to the unit. Angela would like to relocate this head to the upstairs bedroom and have it connected to the available space on the unit. I spoke with Haier technical support and they confirmed that the current set up is not correct, and that F41 error code is a result of the not having enough heads on the outdoor unit. They also verified that it is connected to the wrong ports on the unit and will need to be moved in order to achieve proper performance. I will be providing an estimate
