Office estimates for the guest bathroom remodel
The homeowner requested relocation of the existing laundry connections from the basement to a newly constructed addition connecting the garage to the home. We proposed and completed a full laundry rough-in to provide reliable water supply, drainage, and venting, making the space fully functional and ready for appliance installation. This estimate does not include installation of the dryer vent. Scope of Work Completed: • Installed a recessed washer outlet box with a single-handle, dual-port washer valve and integrated drain receptacle on the interior wall separating the mudroom and laundry room. • Installed PVC piping for the drain, waste, and vent (DWV) system and PEX piping for the water supply system throughout the crawl space. • Connected a 2” PVC drain line from the washer box into the crawl space, properly supported within the floor joists and routed through the existing foundation wall near the current dryer vent termination. • Installed the 2” drain vertically in the far-l
New issue has presented itself in the shower. There is no leak present in the drain, but the tub spout is now leaking profusely. I gave the customer an estimate for a new tub spout. They elected to replace the tub spout themselves. I emailed the estimate for a tub spout replacement. I removed the old tub spout and tapped the threads and replaced o ring. I thoroughly tested the drain and found no leaks. I then caulked around the tub spout.
