I was informed that the customers were getting a bed smell at their primary bathroom sinks. I was unable to recreate the smell but customer said it’s intermittent on both hot and cold. I took tests at the pressure tank and at the sinks. I looked in the toilet tanks. There are signs of manganese and or magnesium in the older toilets. Customer has a newer water heater. They do have an anode rod. I also introduced thrift drain cleaner into the drain and overflow. This is a no charge because I believe it is not necessary, but I am using it as an investigative tool to rule out the smell being from the drain. I recommend a comprehensive lab tests in the water to see what possible issues there are that could cause that smell.
