Medical center water piping leak repair. Seal the hallway off, open the ceiling, and shut the hot water heating system down to the VAV boxes. Open the drain valve to make sure the system is down, then drill a hole in the 90 that was leaking, let the system drain, clean the pipe, and cut out the bad joint. Replace copper 90 with 2.5” pro-press 90. Refill system check for leaks, all good, re-insulate pipe. Replace ceiling tiles, take plastic down, and vacuum the hallway area. 8/28/2025 Leak is on a 1.5” heating main line to the vav boxes. I ordered materials will return on Friday for the repair.
