Sewer and drain cleaning. Sewer line backed up between the cleanout in the basement that leaves the basement to the septic tank. The line is severely lined with scaling and a possible break or separation in the Line about 2 to 3 ‘ out from the clean out. It is about a 5 to 6’ run of 4” cast iron pipe from inside the foundation wall to inside of septic tank. I was able to get the line open by rodding from the septic tank into the house. Only went a couple ft in and it opened up. After draining, I looked inside the pipe from inside the house and could see the line was in need of replacement. Line is 3 to 4’ deep and 5 to 6’ in length. Replacement of pipe to include stubbing into house to 4” PVC and possibly having to repipe main branch line from clean out up to a tie-in point that is reasonable and tying back into septic tank using a hydro plug to seal penetration through foundation and septic tank.
