Job Checkin

For this job, it came out with the power loss issue in half the home being without power. During my diagnostic I examined the entire electrical system from the brand new meter and service cable going into the new 200 amp main breaker panel and the breakers serving the circuits without power. The power coming in to the panel from the utility was the proper 120/240, as well as the power being distributed through the main breaker to the buss bar feeding the circuit breakers. The integrity of the conductors as well as the devices were not compromised and still in “like new” condition as the whole electrical system was replaced during a whole home restoration roughly 2 years ago. My diagnostic concluded that (7) Arc Fault breakers and (1) Dual Function breaker had been fried from a surge in the electrical system. Each breaker was tested and had the same result for reason of failure. It was necessary to replace the damaged breakers in order to restore power to those circuits. Additionally, w
