Reason for today’s visit with the customer was chirping smoke detectors. Upon arrival we discussed the two smoke detectors that were chirping. After they had changed the battery in the smokes they were still chirping. I believe these two units are faulty. I recommended replacing them all considering they were 6 years old. However, at this time the customer is going to get non-hardwired units until the other ones start going bad as well. While talking with the customer we started going over home projects that they were interested in. I provided quotes for two other projects. The first project was putting remote controlled fans in the back bedrooms and hanging a ceiling fan in the living room. The second project was a lighting project in the kitchen. This involved removing and replacing the recess lights with pendants, removing and replacing the chandelier, and finally installing a light fixture in the dining room.
