Installation of new device for the sump pump. We will install a new alarm GFCI for power loss prevention and awareness. Today while inspecting the electrical issues in the basement, i made the customer aware of the hazardous state her main panel was in. I explained the double tapped neutrals, shared neutral circuits, and the illegal tandems. The breakers currently installed are not rated for the panel and were used due to needing space for newer circuits. I expressed that this will need to be replaced due to the over all safety of the home. Customer was also aware of the service cable having a tear located in the top of the cable and the lower portion of the cable. We recommended a whole heavy up with new panel replacement and grounding updated. Customer was aware and will schedule if deciding to move forward.
