Upon arrival client stated that he turned the heat on last night and it came on for a few minutes then shut off and wouldn’t come back on. He then turned the thermostat to cool to see if the unit would come on and it did. I started by changing he thermostat over to heat mode and heard the click for heating but no fan or heat was being provided to the home. I went into the attic and tested the heat strips and no power was being applied to them or tithe fan. I jumped the R terminal to W to provide a call for her and everything came on and tested within manufacturer specifications. I then proceeded to the thermostat where I jumped R to W again to insure all wiring was good. After jumping it at the thermostat the system came on and was providing heat to the home. That indicated hat the thermostat was malfunctioning. I presented our client with my findings and he elected to have a new thermostat installed. I installed the T6 pro thermostat and tested all modes to insure proper function. Uni
