Homeowner stated thermostat was stuck in a boot loop and breaker to outdoor unit was tripped and would not go back after he attempted a power cycle. All this happened after a power outage this morning. Informed homeowner this would need to be replaced by an electrician. Began inspection at indoor 2018 furnace Lennox 3 ton. Started by jumping R to W bypassing the thermostat and unit completed heating cycle and continued to run for 30 minutes. Further tested unit to ensure that the circuit board was still functioning properly, and it was only the thermostat that was affected. I was able to confirm 100% that the thermostat was at fault. I will not be able to further test the outdoor unit until the breaker issue is addressed, however, I did notice a good amount of dust and debris in the outdoor coils restricting airflow. This will cause undo stress on the compressor and electrical components. I also noticed a decent amount of dust on the blower wheel. This creates drag, causing the motor t
