Upon arrival client stated that the unit wasn’t cooling Thursday from about 4-9pm. I began my test by placing the unit in a call for cooling. I was getting the 48 degree supply temp, and 68 degree on return. The client also stated that that it smelt like the heat was on when they came home. I tested to see if the heat strips were energized during the cooling mode. No heat strip was energized. I then placed the unit into emergency heat to test the heat strips, I was getting 20 amps across all legs of the heat strips, which tells me they are working properly. I then placed the unit into regular heat mode and after the 5 minute delay the heat mode started heating the house. Supply temp was at 116 and rising durning inspection. All modes were working properly. I did mention to he client the thermostat could be intermittently failing and possibly needs to be replaced. Left estimates for replacement thermostat. Blower wheel is also extremely caked in dust and debris and could benefit from a
